Come on nbc get ur head outta the gutter like television needs to be clouded with more "reality television" ill tell ya if i turn on my tv and flip on nbc and im all of a sudden watching a remake of the real world im gonna put my foot through it, so my advice is to keep the good shows on (hint hint the black donnellys) and not conform to every other network and broadcast more horrific reality television full of sissy babies complaining all the time and turning my picture box into a poop box
Lets think of two shows that ended up coming back and biting a studio in the ass after being cancelled and then where renewed... Oh I'll just throw Futurama and Family Guy out there. Why doesn't someone grow some backbone and support their shows
And another thing: NBC killed the BDs because it did not do well on Monday, 4/2/07?
Hey, NBC: it was up against the NCAA Men's National Championship game! It was in all the papers, Zucker. Florida vs. Ohio State. The 2 best teams in the country! "Anna Nicole Smith's Secret Home Videos" would have lost the time slot, too (but, then, Fox would have aired that one because NBC only wants intelligent, well-written dramas).
This show has the potential to become a network leading franchise show. If NBC is dumb enough to pull it off the air, hopefully a more intelligent network will pick it up, even if it does have to move to basic cable. Of course if it goes to basic cable, it could even be better, with more freedom to be edgy and gritty.
the show has been on for only a short time to decide to pull it already. the acting and plot are exciting and we dont need anymore stupid reality shows.
NBC is spineless by canceling BOTH "Studio 60" and "The Black Donnellys" without notice. BOTH shows were (i) well written, (ii) intelligent, (iii) unlike any other show on TV, (iv) totally UN-like NBC's "Law & Order"-clone-the-TV-sh ow mentality, and (v) totally UNlike CBS' "CSI"-clone-the-TV-sh ow mentality. Both shows gave me something new and different to look forward to. The BDs also had something that "Studio" did not: real characters that were developing in interesting ways! I hope that NBC rots in the ratings when it resorts to filling this now-vacant hour with another "special episode" of some mindless lottery-ticket-lover night-time game show. Lord knows we can NEVER get enough of THAT "Must-See TV"!!!

i cant believe this!! just when u find a great show, the network pulls the plug. fkeep the black donnellys and pull one of the dozen news and crime shows! how many law and orders do we really need?
What is wrong with NBC - everytime you get a decent show - Studio 60, The Black Donnelly's, you pull it without letting it get a real following! This is particularly true of the Black Donnelly's. It is a great show, was hardly hyped, and was never given a fair shot. I was able to catch the pilot, missed a few episodes and then caught up online, and found I loved it and was really excited to become a regular viewer only to find this?? You need to do more promo for a show with such a contiguous storyline as well, so people start watching from the begining and get hooked.
What a shame - back to having nothing but 24 on monday night . . .
I can't believe The Black Donnellys is being cancelled...and for what, another reality show. Good writing/production/acting should be REWARDED, not relegated to the trash bin.
This is the best thing to happen to network TV in a very long time. If NBC takes it a way, it's no wonder they're not the most watched network. HBO we need you!!!
The black donellys is the best show on NBC. Its the only show I watch on NBC and they are going to replace it with another dumb reality show that shouldnt be on tv, let alone NBC

Studio 60 SUCKS ASS! There are to many Law and Orders on. ER is Ancient. To many game shows such as Deal or no Deal, Identity, and one versus a hundred. I can't take it anymore with NBC until the Black Donnelly's came along i was going to give up. Now there going to cancel the show. If the Black Donnelly's are not put back on then NBC can go to hell. this is an awesome show and it has a HUGE fan base (judging by this petition and its popularity on itunes) so it makes NOOOO sense that it would be canceled if it's making NBC all this money.
