why would you cancel such an awesome show? I was so releived to be able to watch a quality drama on tv instead of the mind numbing reality shows that are being shoved down our throats. This is a fantastic show which should not be cancelled I love it.
I can'r believe this has been pulled. I've just seen the pilot episode and it was excellent. I am in the UK and was looking forward to this being aired over here. To be replaced by a reality show is ridiculous.
I only watch this show and Heroes on NBC. If this is canceled, i prob. wont even watch Heroes anymore. Donnelly's were so much better than Heroes. Kinda a different take on the best movie ever, Boondock Saints! This show cant even be a movie its too good. It needs to be on for many seasons to tell the whole story the right way. I wanna know why Joey 'Icecream' is in jail, and more importantly, in the pilot episode who the cops were talking about when they asked him in one of the first lines of the show ever... 'Where are the bodies?' WHAT BODIES!? Give this show to CBS or ABC so they can make money off of your crappy Wedding Crashers mistake.
I watched the pilot for The Black Donnellys online a month before it premeired and I instantly fell in love with it. I love the story, the setting and most of the characters/actors. I watched the pilot multiple times online and watched it again when it premeired on Feb. 26. My desktop background is a TBD collage but now I have to change it because I can't bare to look at it...it makes me so mad and so sad at the same time. FX please pick up TBD!!!
NBC is so stupid...why are ratings low, well hmmm...let's think jackasses...it's called advertisment...it's called spring break....its called sweeps is over ryt now. Give it time...TBD is worth the wait....please don't cancel. And FX if you're listening...TBD is perfect for your network!!!!!
NBC should give the show enough time for the best form of advertisement, WORD OF MOUTH. I was only recently told about the show and used Itunes to catch up after hearing how good it is. I watched them all, twice and it is the greatest show. I started telling everyone i know about it and then its cancled?. Bring the show back!
I really don't have time to watch tv, but after a long week in which I haven't stopped, I like to curl up on the couch with my laptop and catch up on this show through the web. I was really only just getting into it, and now there's this crazy talk of canceling it. I really feel weird for signing a petition like this, but, to be quite honest, NBC is making a pretty pathetic statement when quality work goes off television and crap like Miss USA stays on.
i cant believe they want to cancel this show, it's the best show to come on in awhile, and i will be absolutely devastated if it's cancelled. i'm addicted and wish it woudl be on more often. maybe if they put it on at a different time it would generate a bigger audience, but i seriously hope this show isnt cancelled, especiallly since i'm from canada and stupid NBC wont allow canadians to stream the episodes. NBC is run by a bunch of stupid idiots who rather air some stupid reality show than one of the best dramas to ever grace televison screens. The Black Donnellys was/is/and always will be an amazing show that was way too good for NBC.
I finally watch NBC for two shows. Friday Night Lights and The Black Donnellys. Now they go and rip one of those from my monday night. Let it finish the season on monday and then bring it back on after Friday Night Lights next season (if there is a next season for FNL).

My point is, you can not drop a show just becuase it has a few bad episodes. The show need to have time to establish a cultivate a substantial audience. I love this show and was shocked today when a friend told me that they read that the Black Donnelly's was cancelled-strike that, I was furious. When I saw the pilot, I was hooked. The show is shot and directed so well, it is like watching an ongoing movie every week. I want this show to stay on and I feel that the time it is on has something to do with the ratings. I think we need to just give the show a chance to to catch some buzz.
This is one of the ONLY good shows on tv right now. What, are they going to replace it with another reality show? There are currently 68 reality shows on tv right now. Horrible. I'm gonna go watch Raines. I love Jeff Goldblum(and Sarcasm)
Bring Back The Black Donnellys! I finally found a show that I can be proud to say I'm a major fan of....and you cancel it???
This is the kind of show NBC NEEDS to compete w/ F/X, Bravo, etc. Yet you put it up against Top Shows with huge fanbases. Instead of nurturing this newly born show into a huge following, by putting it on a slower night, where everyone will take a chance on watching it. I just don't understand your reasoning.

Please don't cancel the show. It's great. At least air the remaining episodes before you give it the axe. This is the first time, in a long time that I have watched every minute of a show from the very beginning. I really have enjoyed it. I have even gotten my son and nephew hooked.
This show gave me a reason to watch TV on Monday's. It gave the Irish people sort of an escape to a different life like "The Soprano's" gives Italians. This show was my Monday, don't take that away.
Keep The Black Donnellys. It's the best show on TV. And the best thing NBC has going for it. Put it on in a better time slot. It's new, give it a chance for other people to watch it.
Or give the rights over to a network that isn't afraid to show something other than just sitcom/supernatural/and shows that make you wonder what the heck you just watched

God, what the hell? I wait all weekend for Monday to watch the Black Donnelly's, and its my favourite late night show! Its the only thing to watch on NBC since Heroes isnt on. And when Heroes is on, its the best 2 hours of television and a hell of a way to start the week! You gotta be insane to yank the Black Donnellys!!! D:
Please don't cancel this show!!!!! It's all i look forward to after a hard Monday, and it is currently my favorite show! I have been a faithful Grey's follower and Housewives, but The Black Donnellys blows them all out of the water. Please do not cancel this amazing series!!!!

How can you shit-can such top-notch writing, character development, humor, pathos, and history? C'mon Studio Suits, get a grip on what the REAL public is watching or risk your viewers jumping to a different, more-responsive network. This is a killer-bright writing cast and crew! Don't cancel it!

Hey nbc u might wanna look at how many people r signing this thing and trying sooo hard to keep this show alive, now I think that shows a lot when a show is only on for such a short amount of time and so many people fight to keep it alive , maybe u should consider that1
