If you cancel the Black Donnelly's you can say goodby to my viewership. I will never watch another show on your network. I am a huge Heroes fan and I am more than willing to give it up because of this.
Am I crazy, or isn't the purpose of television to air dramatic or comedic or a mix of the two? Since when is a reality show better than actual shows. This is ridiculous. NBC please don't cancel The Black Donnellys for some stupid wedding crashers reality show bullshit. Yeah, the movie was good but that was because people liked Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn not some random nobodies.
The Black Donnellys is one of the best shows ever!! It is so good at balancing the drama with the comedy...please please just give it some time. It has great potential!
This is what I look forward to every monday and its a great show!!!!! Its the only show I really want to watch every week and I always look forward to the new episode every week so please don't take that away. If you still have 30 rock (which suxx and very few people like and has very low ratings too) than why cancel this great show. plus, its about the Irish, whats better than that!!!!!!
This isn't fair...The Black Donnellys is an amazing show. NBC showed no love for it. They barely advertised it and then they aired it during spring break, against the NCAA championship, and w/o any leadins. Give it a chance!!!!
i am a 15 year old girl, and all my friends and i love this show. that proves how wide and diverse a fan base it has. nbc this is the only show you have worth watching, it woudl be a HUGE mistake to cancel it.
This show is absoutley the best show. Some people might just need to warm up to it. You don't ever see Irish shows like this. it is so unique and the plot captivates you and keeps your attention. It would be a crime to art and culture to cancel this show.
This is an awesome show I just got hooked by talking with my co-workers. Maybe if you would advertise it more it would get better ratings. everyone we talk to gets hooked on it just by word of mouth that tells you alot. Rmember other great shows like sinefeild and Friends did not have great ratings at first give it time...I will boycott your channel if you take this off!!!!
I wait for this show all week, and I've bought all the episodes on iTunes. This is such a wonderful program, and I'm extremely upset that it's being cancelled. Big mistake, NBC!
I can't believe NBC is doing this to me again. I watched Studio 60 religously because it was a well-written, funny show and they cut that one from me. When they replaced it with the Donnelly's, I was reluctant at first, but the show easily became my new favorite show. It is the most entertaining and best written show out today. If NBC takes the Black Donnelly's off the air, I will ban every NBC show. NBC will lose an avid watcher. I hope they value their watchers opinions.
This is just another example of how disconnected the networks are from the American people. They won't even give possibly the greatest show on television a true chance.
The premier was one of the best hours of television I have ever seen. If NBC cancels it, the NBC executives will sleep the fishes . . . if you catch my drift . . .

NBC please stop canceling all of my favorite shows, I hated Monday shows and didn't really watch tv on that day but, now I have something to look forward to on Mondays. Keep it please!
This show is quality. It's gritty, original, well acted and has grown to be a favorite of mine in a short time. NBC would be foolish to give up this brilliant show. NBC should have given it better promotion.
No doubt the best show you are airing, I know alot of people who watch every week and are pissed off at your decision to cancel such a good show.. Nothing you put in that time slot will do better.. NOTHING
this is the only reason i watch tv on Mondays, and i will never watch NBC again if they cancel this show. It's one of the only shows that isn't about doctors or detectives and isn't some lame ass reality show.
I became hooked as soon as i began watching it. I watched it everyone monday night with my sister, and my whole family watches it at home. A bunch of shows were given a second chance, and this one deserves it. Do not cancel this show!
Thankfully I've got these episodes saved on the DVR - there's some crummy stuff on TV at the moment, so it's great to watch this. The characters are believable; the story-lines have me hooked...It's too good to throw in the towel just yet! Give it (and us) a chance!
Why break something that's fixed? The Donnellys is the best show on NBC since Frasier -- That's a verrry long dry spell of good shows for this network.
As one of my friends said to me, shows aren't really given a fair chance nowadays. Pulling the Black Donnellys in favor of another reality show is shortsighted (as someone said below); it replaces a well-written show with more reality TV crap.
They better at least put all the episodes online. I mean the only reason why the show is getting bad ratings is because NBC did such a poor job of advertising it. I watched the first episode 3 times but never actually caught the premier because i really didn't know about it. So i watched it online 2x and the thursday night encore. NBC, ITS YOUR FAULT SO DON'T SCREW THE FANS!
This show is great. Not only does it show Irish people killing Italians, but it shows them as something more then lazy, fighting drunks. Thank you Paul Haggis for redeming white people after you made us look bad in Crash.
