Why is it that we can travel everywhere in this world including TURKEY and
you will not let some Turkish people come into our country. Ok charge then
£10 to come in like they do to let us into Turkey but stop being so
judgemental. |

I am a british citizen and if I choose to marry someone I should have the
right to bring them to my country. I pay my taxes and dont expect to be
humilated or have my life searched. If my husband came illegally he d get
every penny under the sun. If he comes with me he's entitled to nothing
and has to prove everything. Re-open Cyprus for settlements!!! |

I AGREE AS WE ARE BEING FLOODED WITH POLISH AND SAMARLIANS FOR EXAMPLE- SO
WHY THEY NOT LEAVE A TURKISH PARTNER HERE TO LIVE WITH PARTNER IN UK IS A
DISCRACE TO BE HONEST- THEY WILL NOT B WANTING OWN HOUSE AND INCOME SUPPORT
AS WILL BE WITH BRITISH PARTNERS- IT DOES NOT MAKE SENCE |

Tracey KIlinc :
as I feel that the visa system is very unfair and people's lives are
deemed on what a consulate officer thinks is right not any hard and fast
rules which they should always follow. The staff in most of the consulates
are very rude to people about their relationships and really need a course
in how to treat people who are going through a very emotional time being
apart from their loved ones. |

If you love someone then you should be together no matter where you stay.

I find it really upsetting that the government can hire an admin company
like Setur to make decisions about my life, my future. If you can provide
all of the evidence needed to prove your love/loyalty on paper which is
even more stupid your husband should be allowed to have his visa and join
you. |

I am lucky in that my husband got his visa, but I still think the ECO
should treat all applicants with respect (my husband was told off for
smiling when he showed his wedding photos at the interview). Also all
applications should be considered on their facts, not on the ECO's
(sometimes) biased opinions. |

I really hope laws can be relaxed a bit more, women are tired of having to
explain themselves. How can some paperwork show how much you love
somebody!? |
