i have a kurdish boyfriend and i agree that turkish and kurdish men should
be allowed residence in the uk especially when they are in love with a
english woman it should be freedom for all not just the EU. IM SICK AN
TIRED OF THE ENGLISH GOVERNMENT DESCRIMINATING AGAINST OTHER NATIONALITIES
WE ALL NEED TO MAKE A STAND AND SAY THIS IS NOT RIGHT. |

Who is this system here to protect? It doesnt make sence. If people have
decided to make vows to each other why should the government have a final
say. They should respect marriage instead of putting a strain on it. |

I have been wıth now my Turkish husband for 3 years, twice he was
refused a visa to England, but once we marrıed and I came to Turkey to
live they gave him a visa for a holiday to England. But if I wanted to
come back to England to live I am not sure they would grant permission for
him too.

Where i accept that there will be genuine instances of unfair treatment by
the uk borders agency, they will be in the distinct minority here.
Those applying for visit visas for their Turkish boyfriends should
appreciate that the UK Borders Agency's criteria for acceptance is fair. If
your boyfriends have no permanent employment,(and I mean proper jobs), and
no business or their own home, they will not be granted a visit visa
because they can not show that they have anything to return home for.
Furthermore, those who all think that it is so unfair that Polish and other
EU citizens are allowed to settle and work here, but not their Turkish
boyfriends are deluded. Do you realise the impact of an open door policy on
Turkish EU entry? 80 million muslim Turks free to come and go as they
please from our shores? No, I suspect that by the way most of you spell
that this hadn't crossed your minds.
All of you who moan about our country being full of Foreigners(as I'm sure
you all do), are being more than a little short-sighted.
Also your visa declaration of being able to financially support your
foreign partner means a little more than sharing your council
house/giro/child benefit.
If you all think you are so hard done by why dont you prove your supposed
'love' by upping sticks and moving to Turkey. Try outstaying your £10 visa
there and see if you think you are treated fairly!
I am not Anti-Turk. My girlfriend is Turkish, and I own a property there.
The difference being that Turkish women are valued and respected in their
country and have no real desire to move abroad, unlike the men.
For those who complain that immigration officials are rude to them, it is
because they can see straight through your 20 year age gaps and fictitious
application.
wake up!
