This world is in dire need of a common, simple, neutral, second language for all. Esperanto is certainly one of the best -if not the upmost best candidate to fulfil that role.
A great unfairness in the world is that many are required to know the language of a dominant few. There needs to be an equal footing in international communication. Esperanto provides this.
Furthermore, much to too much money is spent in the world translating a single text to multiple languages. It would be cheaper by far to write it once in Esperanto, and everyone understands that. The surplus money could be put to far better use.
A common language will unite all People.

The world needs a language, which make contacts between humans possible in practical way.Also it can be use as a computerlanguage for making computerprograms
because it is logic, and therefore much easier to learn than national language.
It can help especially poor countries and people to become competitive.

it's unfair that English should be imposed as the de facto international language, just for the mere economical power of the US. If there shall be a lingua franca, the peoples should be the ones to choose it!
