If we had ethical leaders, truly ethical leaders - (those who are really interested in protecting regular citizens and not corporate interests, profits and excessive salaries), our middle class would be improving, would be protected and would continue to pass a better life to our children than we have.
We need regulation to control the mentality of excess. Many companies believe \"there is never too much money, no limit to what we do for that money and make money at all costs\" If left to the \"free market\" we see what corporations do, and that is financially rape regular folks.

Insurance needs to become not-for profit PERIOD!!! The very nature of insurance should mean that when you have an excess of premiums, it does not go into profits, but it goes into reserves. Then when there are higher claims because of a levy breaking, an epidemic or natural disaster we have the money to make people whole again. Insurance companies will not go into the red, forcing them to reject claims or raise premiums, because excess reserves will be available instead of depleting the excess money by giving it to executive salaries, bonuses and excess....
Elect leaders who will be ETHICAL!! We need this for the future of our kids!
