The purpose of this petition is to protect the rights of Utah employees. Being an 'At Will State' employees have little or no rights at all. Discrimination is a huge factor as is employers alowing to terminate your employment because they do not like the shape of your nose. I have had more than my fair share of discrimination and gone through wrongful dismissmals which warrants me to lobby for employees rights in the state of Utah. It also serves to protect employees from employers who can and will do whatever they please and not be penalized in any way. I am certain there is something that can be done by the way of passing this along to congress and to once and for all bring Utah Employment Laws out of the dark ages and hold all employers fully accountable for their dispicable actions.
