Binghamton Reg Sustainability Coalition Endorser

We would like you to endorse the Binghamton Regional Sustainability Coalition and its mission. Your endorsement will demonstrate our support in the community, allowing us to mobilize the resources necessary to fulfull our mission.
Mission: The Binghamton Regional Sustainability Coalition (BRSC) is a grassroots, democratically-run organization, dedicated to increasing civic participation through education and collaboration to achieve enduring social, environmental, and economic well-being.
We are working to become a regional information clearinghouse to promote new and existing efforts, a source for sustainability training and education, a center for networking and coordination and an advocacy group that builds community support for public policies that further our mission.
Current Activities:
• GAS-DRILLING EDUCATION & ACTION.
• BUILDING LOCAL FOOD SYSTEMS.
• SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE AT BCC, November 14-15.
• LOCATING THE BINGHAMTON REGIONAL SUSTAINABILITY CENTER.
Future projects could include green jobs, alternative transportation and energy, green building & renovation, zero waste, and more.
Come to our Action Meeting on Thurday, August 28 6:00-8:00pm (5:30pm Potluck), Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 83 Main Street, Binghamton (west of Walnut St.)
