You people in power, please look the situation of farmers above all. They are desperate because of lack of good governance. But you are boasting that you did a lot for them. But this is unrealistic. That is why almost all of them were balloting against you. Therefore why not you accept the reality and leave the place for the winner and let the ethipian people evaluate the new comers in their term. And hence if they fail to fullfill their promise, like you did, people will outcast them. That time you will come back with innovative ideas. That is Democracy which many developed countries do.If you have real commitment, this is the simplest action that ethiopians can exerecise.Let us wake-up.For how many years we will be first from the bottom in every aspect of development

The Ethiopians have unlimited soverweign rights to in democracy, under the rule of law, without feer of the regims. Ethiopians hav suffered more during meles zenawi that any other previous regims. Therefore if the west i.e. under President Bush and PM Tonny Blair wishes stabibility and free from terrorism should unconditionally accept and support the Ethiopian opposition parties, CVUD and UEDF. Otherwise the people of Ethiopia have the right to find new friens elsewhere who are not confortble with the West. Thanks in advance.

Please, for once, see through and beyound the double standard the west has so often employed to frustrate its REAL suporters in Africa. Please help us achieve true democracy in Ethiopia once and for all. History will remeber you and the Ethiopians may even name a whole city after you - they have memories dating back 3000 years and do not forget easily. thank you

The Albanian communist turn capitalist is duping the west again. This time as new born ‘anti terrorist’ when in fact the very history of his financial backing throughout his existent has always been questionable up to this very day. Instead, please look at the Ethiopian history and religion and discover where the asset to fight terrorism truly rests; it is with the peace loving Ethiopian people. And it is that base of 70 million people who overwhelmingly voted against this regime on May 15 only to be muffled with the barrel of a Gun. If you want a time proven ally against terrorism, stand with the Ethiopian people who are the true champion of this cause, not the opportunist Meles regime.

Dear President Bush and PM Blair, you must take some time to rethink about your stand on Ethiopian politics. I can not understand what your interest really is! I can not see you are addressing your interest too. You must understand that Ethiopian basic problem is only dictator regimes, not to mention that of the present ruling party. As to the natural behaviour of the people, Ethiopians more than any people are very much cooperative and respect Humanity and natural rights of mankind, even at the expense of their interests if you want to see at personal level. The long year experinece of living together among peoples of different religeon and ethnicity could be a very good role model for the rest of the world, eventhough the present ruling party is trying to break such a value. The world could rather benefit from such lifestyles. Any step going against the interest of Ethiopians means only an intention directed to put the people in a hardship, with no any benefit to the rest of the wold but even with costs of lossing at least what Ethiopians could have contributed. Therefore, I would suggest Mr. President and PM should change your attitude just at this very moment on be half of the people and the present and future values of your choice. You must not accept the false words of the ruling party leaders while majority of the people voted for the Opposition parties. I thank you for your understanding, Feyisa

I strongly condemn the EPDRF aggression againist the people of Ethiopia and againist the opposition supporters and leaders. The recent accusation of opposition leaders by the government is a clear manifestation of the governments subversive plan of stealing the voice of the people and diverging the issue of election fraud and the killing of innocent people in to other unrelated fallacies. We know the opposition did not incite any violence, we know the opposition did not arrest thousands of Ethiopians, We know the opposition did not kill -- We know who is responsible for all these crimes. Presenent Bush and Prime minister Tony - While I realize you have other urgent and pressing issues you are currently working on and your time is to be spent working for the people who elected you ie the people of the USa and Britain - I begg you to share your wisdom and time for the people Ethiopia as the Ethiopian people are at a cross road and danger. A little help now when it is really needed is much more beneficial than a tone of help when it is not needed as much. Appreciate for your concern and assistance. S.Alemu

GOD LOVES THE GOOD MAN, BUT HE HATES THE EVIL PLANNER AND HIS PLAN. Dear Prime Minister Blair and President Bush, Is it undiplomatic and unpatriotic to call Meles Zenawi, a Dictator a Traitor and Child killer? I hope not. The kinds of terrorism Meles and his henchmen are committing in Ethiopia are cruel, illegal and inhumane to say the least. The threat or use of violence, often against the civilian population, to achieve political or social ends, to intimidate political opponents, or to publicize grievances must not be allowed in this 21st century. Hence if Mr Blair and President Bush ignore the Ethiopian people’s sufferings that are intentionally created by this dictator, traitor and human butcher, God shall confront Meles Zenawi soon or later over evils he and his cronies have done to our people. Then would the EPRDF Police and their savage Agaazie Brigade arrest or shoot God on that day too? They would probably try? But they can’t win. Please stop supporting evil and its demons.

I also want to ask these western leaders to urgently realise that if any of the opposition leaders get hurt by these ruthless and reckless government forces at this particularly difficult moment, the country may unfortunately slip in to chaos and anarchy with grave consequences.
