I would honestly pay $300 in addition of a PS3 to play this game with a fresh new look. Best game Ever! Why let those beautiful Cloud and Aeris models go to waste?
Ive played ff7 for several months and finished it over 10 times and still it is getting better every time and none of the other ff games is this good. if square-enix makes a remake off ff7 i would buy playstation 3 & the game since i got no plans at the moment 2 buy ps3... this would be great since the movie advent children is coming out as well comercial for the game & film which would make the whole show much better. some friends of mine wud also buy it if it came a remake since they wont play the old because of old graphic.

Remaking FF7 would be one of the best moves square enix could make! just as long as they kept the original story completely and didn't mess around with the original gameplay aspects. Would definately purchase tho!!!

Why remake FF7? It would be ruining a master piece, its like shoving you back in your mother and saying make you better. It's just wrong, besides, they're busy enough as it is, have you seen the demand for KH2? and not to mention the new games its developing, no TRUE FF7 fan would buy it.

please make a remake of this game, i'll definitely buy it and many other people will too, cuz most of the gamers started playiing FF games after FFX , and getting back to the old playstation graphics is pretty hard after that ! .
Think about it: What would you really have to lose by remaking this game? The fans would be happy, and you would make a ton of money. Not to mention the fact that you would probably draw in tons of new fans. So what are you waiting for? Remake FF7!
FF7 is probably the greatest game ever made. It has such a huge following, that it would be moronic not to remake it. Its truly a classic, and needs to be seen in today's graphics.

this was the first eva game i played on the playstation. it was great back then and is still a brilliant game. it is a crime if there is no remake. so do the game justace and remake it
This was also my first and favorite Final Fantasy. I was hooked and couldn't let go plus I didn't want to let go! The story was perfect, music touched me, characters were so awesome, and at the time... graphics were sweeeeeeet! So come on Square! Do a remake of the greatest Final Fantasy game ever created!
FFVII was my FIRST Final Fantasy game... I would definitely go out and buy a PS3 ASAP if it was remade. My advice though: don't touch anything but the graphics. I prefer to leave the voices of Cloud & friends to my imagination. I'd still buy it no matter what though.
if FF7, my favorite game of all time, were to be remade for the ps3 i'd buy a ps3 JUST for that game. i'd have no use for the ps3 other then that. gotta love the game
final fantasy VII is my favorite game ever made and i would buy it the second it came out if they remade it but theres only one thing i would have to say is that if they do remake it they can't add or chang anything that has to do with the story just redo the graphics and get voice actors
Final Fantasy VII was one of the most successful Squaresoft games, and with it's popularity and supremely touching storyline, it deserves a graphics update. Thinking of the sheer awesomeness that was FFX, imagine what a next- gen remake of VII would be. They would be stupid not to do it.
Square-Enix will make bucket-loads of cash on any re-make. personally i would prefer VIII as it was my fav. but going by what most people think, if they are to re-make only one it should be VII. it gets near perfect ratings, the only thing it fails on is the graphics. This can now be fixed. Also voice overs would perfect the game beyond belief. GO FOR IT SQUARE-ENIX!
Yes they should make a re-make for the fact this put F on the map and made me want to play all the old ones and all the new ones it was the best FF game ive played and had the best characters and story line so i think. Re-make this game.
Final Fantasy VII is what got me into the Final Fantasy series. In my opinion, it was one of the best games I've ever made. It'd be awesome if it were remade. New graphics would rock.
Ever since I first played FFVII, back in about 2000, (as that was when I firest found out about it,) I said to both myself and my friends, "OH dear lord. This would kick so much ass if they remade it with better graphics!"
And thinking of it from a buisness-like standpoint, you would make so much freaking money if you did.
Remaking the game should be an integral part of suporting your Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, an updated version would easily attract new customers.
Remake ff7 and I'll buy it. You can't just dump one of the most revolutionary games in the world for FFX-2, which was a complete betrayal for us fans! Sure, the graphics were cool, but where was the story, the systems, the other things that made ff7 a huge hit!? You owe us this, so make it better.
