Yes, remake would be nice if the characters stay as they are in first edition, don't cut Clouds hair shorter 'n' stuff :/

FF7 still stands as the best FF even after 10 has already been released. Its a shame if you dont do this.,.. Not one FF fan is alive out there who doesnt know the names Cloud and Sephiroth. I'd buty the game if it costed 100!! l
If it were made I'd buy two, one to play and one to keep behind my 2" glass casing just to look at from time to time. @_@. Every friend I know that's interested in FF would buy it too I can say with full confidence.
FFVII is definately the best game I've ever played, if not the best including the ones I haven't. I want it really really bad!! And my brother and I would each by a copy!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!
I don't see what the problem is. The time is right. With all this compilation of FF7 stuff that's coming out, a new updated version of FF7 is a must. Saying no to a remake is like saying no to free money. Especially when you could charge from $60 to $70 for the game and still have millions of copies of the game sell.
Not ONLY was this my first 3-D poly RPG, but was my FIRST EVER 3-D game! Add to that the fact that the story of FFVII is the most memorable of all the Series. This game has some serious memories for me, a re-make would be just fantastic, Square-Enix =D

Please, please, I beg you Square--remake! Not a sequel to AC, a remake! FFVII is my favorite game, as is most of the world's--please, FFVII does deserve a remake, as Sinead said. Besides, an FFVII remake would sell billions...Anyway, all of your devoted fans would DEFINATELY not mind buying an FFVII remake, even if it's $600 :P.

If they remade the game so the graphics were better, not changing the sotryline, just the graphics, and they got the people who did the voices in Kingdom Hearts to do they character voices again. That would rock.
I love Final Fantasy VII, I really do. Having a remake.. with like.. better graphics, but that sory that we love.. it would be great. Best game ever, why not have it with better graphics? I bet that could make Vincent even hotter..
Final Fantasy VII is my favourite game of the FF series. After playing and completing the more recent titles, I always go back to FFVII afterwards as no other game can compete as far as I am concerned. An updated version of the game would do it wonders - it deserves graphics that do its superb plot and characters justice. And I can't deny that I'm dying to see a Vincent FMV. You'd make a lot of people very happy with this remake.
Please because like MGS1 and RE1. This game marked the 32-bit generation and it's impact is felt in RPG's today It rightfully deserves a remake.
This is the best game I have ever played in my life. I share the same sentiments as Reno. I would buy a PS3 just to play a remake of FFVII. It would be a crime not to.
I have played this game many times over, getting every item possible. This game has occupated days of my life without remorse, bringing me joy and a feeling of nostalgia everytime I went through it. There are always parts of a game that are unforgettable....every moment was like that in this game. If I were to see a remake of this game, the first thing I would do is check my funds because I would easily spend $600 just to get PS3 and a remake of the ultimate RPG experience with renewed graphics and sound, with voice-overs and things that are possessed by only the newer games. All the new RPGs and many other genres as well, were affected by this game, setting the stage for the new, heavily CG animated games.I have played this game longer than I can remember and if a remake can do what this title did originally..... Final Fantasy 7 was the best story of all time. not just a game, a story. I say quare enix should perfect the game play and make it the best GAME of all time.

An FF7 re-make in PS3 will be great. With it having already a great story and all, improving it (especially in graphical design) will more than satisfy the FF fans. This would be one of the best in the FF series if it is to be re-made.
