I would really like to this this game remade. It is a classic that is capable of doing much more on the graphical platforms we have now. Most enjoyable it would be to play this game in High res. and beautiful cinimatics. Please re-make it Square..
a remake is a engenious idea !!! how long has it been 8 yrs since it came out ? thats a hellova long time in gaming perspective , they would have to change up a whole deal to make it more realistic and up to date but the important part is to keep the FF7 story intact and get the same atmosphere , buck all haters on ff7 remake !! all arguments of not making it can and should be taken apart
Better Graphics and Sound would be good, also my discs are scratched to buggery, mainly from overuse and i mean OVERUSE, be nice to play it through without the constant freezing :)

I love final fantasy and the graphism of the seventh opus are more unpleasant and melodies are very beautiful but midi files are unpleasant too!

If they dont remake the ffvii then they must be really stupid, or to rich and stuck up to do it. After all youd be doing a favor for the fans as well as yourself. This game really needs a remake, not only for the fans but to prove this game is the best game ever made this life time... If t his is going to be a reamke any chance of BC and CC etc becoming onto the ps3 so then we could have a box set think of all the money rolling in
It was just an incredible game, the first Final Fantasy game I played. I would buy it instantly, as would millions of others around the world. Next to Final Fantasy IX, this is my favourite RPG. The music, theme, characters, everything, is perfect.
This game truely deserves a remake. Moreover it would increase sales of other Final Fantasy VII related games, so I think a remake is a really good idea.

Even as Final Fantasy VII, the original was the very best, We all would just Love to see a re-make, better graphics,more characters to see in a nicer style would be all of us Final Fantasy fans dream to come true. FF7 SHOULD BE REMADE, HELL ALL THE FF GAMES SHOULD BE REMADE WITH SUPED UP GRAPHICS, THAT WOULD BE THE DAY ESPECIALLY THAT THE NEW FF GAMES DON'T HAVE THAT CERTAIN INGREDIENT THAT FF'S 1-X HAVE.

Every possible genre for Final Fantasy has been explored now (from VII to XII). It is a good time to remake VII and goes along with the whole 'compilation' plan anyway.
