While it would be a difficult project to pull off, relasing a fully three-dimensionsal FFVII for the PS3 would likely be one of the most succesful ventures Sony has undertaken in some time.
An FFvii would be fantastic, this was also my first RPG I have ever played...And Jukka, Yes, you can play the PSOne version of FFVII on any PlayStation.
A remake of FF7 would be out of this world. It would probably sell a LOT and make many fans very happy.
Besides the statement: "We will not Re-Make FF7 while you can still buy and play it on backwards compatible systems" Is quite untrue, to play the old version on modern systems requires quite a bit of tweaking and im sure not everyone has the necessary skills for that.

FF7 didn't have voices! But now with PS3 and Blue-Ray techology they could include Japanese-English language for the dialogues!!
I would buy without even thinking twice. To see a remake would be a dream come true, I have many reasons to see a remake, FF7 is one of the top RPG's. There is no harm that can be done. Just a updated verison, of a game that's already in the ranks of Legends, as far as games are ranked.SO I'M JUST DYING FOR A REMAKE!!!
I've been a fan of FF7 since 97. it was my first RPG i was in 5ht grade and it got me hokoked. ive been a huge fan of square enix games since and if you could rerelease the game that got me hooked to squaresoft at the time you could defintaely bring in new kids too
The game should be remade just the way it was, it would be a huge success and would bring in PLENTY of profits.. I myself would pre-order it months in advanced, like i will as soon as i can for Advent Children.
Square-Enix should defintely remake Final Fantay VII it was there best Final Fantasy ever created and it would make so much money if they made a remake. They should just add it to the complimation of Final Fantasy VII. Square-Enix with the power of their franchise and Hardware capability with the playstation 3 they could remake the greatest game ever made. Considering they're making a movie and like, 3 games based on the final fantasy VII universe, it would just seem right to round it all out with a badass remake of the original
No matter how much i love square hands and weird looking ppl It would nice to see the graphic upgraded at least. Maybe more game in the Golden Sauser, and more side quests.
ff7 is one of th egreatest rpg's ever to be created, heck imo it IS the greatest game ever to be created lol, but a remake would be awsum because alo of people would never play the original any more just becuse of the now crap grafix, which is a shame. and a remake would bring in alot of new final fantasy fans lol

The amazing potential shown with the FFVII Tech Demo for the PS3 only goes to show the greatness of how technology has advanced. Remakes, perhaps with a new side-quest or a new option or even if it stayed true to the original, would generate an untold but amazingly high sales record. Not only that, many Final Fantasy fans have been drawn into the series by none other than FFVII itself. A remake could also be done to commemorate a 10 year anniversary of the game. :)
Not only is Final Fantasy VII the best ever RPG Squaresoft have made to date, but aswell as the best RPG of all time. If it was to be remade however it would not only please the customer but I'm sure it would please the company as a whole. Anyone who has heard of the Final fantasy series and heard of FF VII in particular will no doubt buy the remake, it's for certain in my eyes.
Personally I would love a remake. But ur not looking for personal opinion, I also think it would be a fantastic business move on ur part. With all of the steam rolling off the Compliation project a remake would be a fantastic way to top everything off.

Please make a remake. I know it will be hard but do it for the fans. Advent Children will surely be a success from the many fans of FFVII and a remake would complete the compilations.

I can't think of anything more worthwhile than taking one of the most entrancing stories and adding updated grapics and gameplay..It would make me more likely to go out and BUY a ps3 to play it on.

FFVII is the greatest game ever created, i saw the PS3 tech demo and i was very pleased with what they did to it, i think that it would great if it was released for the PS3 i certainly would buy it, and i know a few others that would too
I know many, many people who would be glad to go out and buy and updated version of FF7. I would love to see the entire game with more advanced visuals, so please, have a remake. Don't add or change anything other than graphics, and it would be nice to have more coherent and correctly translated dialog. Don't rush it... take your time and make it the best it can be, just like it always has been... the best ^_^

At one time in my life FF7 was pretty much my life. Yes I am a geek. A remake is like giving everyone else a second chance to play it again. This time the graphics would be as great as the experience you get while playing the original one.
Final Fantasy 7 is the best video game I've ever played. A remake would make millions of fans happy; they will be able to see FF7 with a powerful storyline and the beautiful graphics it has always deserved to have.
FF VII is THE best RPG ever thought up, awsome characters and the whole shibang. Nothing compairs. With a remake of this game, i would be happier than hippys smoking hash :D :D
