if they remake FF7 it will truly become the gratest game of all time since the only problem people had with the original were the graphics, but with the ps3 the graphics can be crazy

it is olnly common sense, it was the best rpg ever made. Making it over will be the equivalent to an induction to some hall of fame, don't play make it over for the ps3
I know SO many people who would most certainly buy this. It would be a smart investment to remake this game. I strongly believe this. Especially after all the hype with Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. A remake now would be wonderful. This is, to me (and MANY other people), one of the best games ever! There's such a special place in my heart for this game and I love it so much. I would be happy beyond reason if there was going to be a remake! And as many people have already said, this game deserves to be remade. I am confident sales will be high with this. It's already got quite a reaction just from the tech demo. So, come on!

If a FFVII Remake would be released, I would certainly buy it right away (of course at the cheapest place, but yet...).

FFVII is one of the greatest RPGs ever made, and the introduction of Advent Children will surely make people want to play this masterpiece. Alas the only version of FFVII is on the decade old PS1. With the launch of PS3 next year, I can't think of a better time to recreate this legend.
FFVII was the first SquareSoft game I ever played. Since then, I have purchased almost everygame that Square-Enix has released! There is no more fitting way to recognise the impact of this game than to breath new life into it for the next generation of gamers.
A new Final Fantasy VII would be awesome. New graphics would make me buy the game instantly, though I already own the old one. Replay value is great. I'd buy the PS3 JUST to play it haha.
