Final Fantasy VII was my favorite game when it was released in 1997, and it still is. I would go out and buy a PS3 just for the remake. FFVII is the greatest Final Fantasy game ever.
I would totally buy a PS3 just for this game alone. The tech demo looks amazing and I'm sure if it was remade the music would blow my mind along with the graphics. I do look forward to seeing a FF7 remake in the near future.

Absolutely rating in the top 3 games I have ever played. Maybe even the best. I would probably buy copies for all my friends who would enjoy this because a remake for the PS3 would be ideal.
Ohhhhhh yes. If you remake this amazing game, you'd make loads of money. You made millions with FF7 on the PS1, and now, with a wider audience and renewed interest because of the compilation, a remake would be ideal for you. Who cares how much it'd cost to make, you'd surely profit.

Come on Square, you have to be more original than that. I mean, how many games shops still sell PS1 games, let alone FF7? Remaking it for the Playstation III would be a great decision on your part, and no mistake.
If Square actually ends up paying any attention to this petition, then hreed my words PLEASE REMAKE THIS AWESOME GAME. I still play it on my PS2 every day, and just thinking about putting an FF7 PS3 disc into my next console makes me twitch and drool uncontrollably. You'd make money, you'd make fans, you'd promote the Compilation, and speaking of da Compilation, what better way to finish it than with a remake of the game that started the whole thing? I'm sure hundreds of thousands of people, even though we won't get their signatures, would love to see their favourite game remade in full on sexyvison. If you have the technology to create a tech demo on an unfinished PS3 Dev kit, then surely you could remake the game on a fully completed PS3. With the tech demo in place, it'd be a big disappointment to get our hopes up like that and then drown them by saying you are not making a remake and that's final. So please do it!
as you can tell from my name, i love ff7. ive grown up with the characters, the game made me laugh, cry, cheer... it's rarely i express such emotions, especially for a game. please remake this stunning game!
Fans have been groping for a remake of FF7 ever since the PS2 was released. Wit hthe compilation of FF7 out, and the largely successful movie to cop it off, fans are dreaming of seeing all their favourite characters again in super high-def graphics. The PS3 can make this a reality, all we need is you, Square Enix.
I agree with all the other signers, seeing FF7 on the PS3 would bring a tear to my eye and a PS3 to my house (along with the game). It'd be worth getting a PS3 for. Please redo this classic!
PS3 will have many good games on it. Killzone, Metal Gear Solid, and Ghost Recon 3 to name a few. If they remade FF7 for it, the PS3 would surely be the ultiamte next-gen console.Ressurect FF7!
well looking at these post i have to agree to all as i would love to see ff7 remade. i have asked the same question to xbox lovers that have played ff7 on ps1 and they said they would souly buy a ps3 for this game as it will be the greatest! so plz square-enix REMAKE this classic
I've given most of my life to Final Fantasy VII. I've dreamed about it for countless years (all right... 5), and if you remake fF7, I can have those dreams again, only with superb graphics and voice overs. HELL YEA.
ff7 was the first game i ever played on a ps1, and if you remade it for ps3, it would be reason enough to just go out and get a ps3. you'd make loads square enix! do it!
FF7 was the greatest game on the PS1 IMO. Square made millions off of it, so it stands to reason that if they redid it for the PS#, it would not only renew interest in FF7, but it's entire compilation as well. What Square would do with the profits, I can only imagine.
What better way to finish the compilation of FF7 than with a remake of the original? It'd renew interest in FF7, and Square Enix would make $$$$$. Take a chance SE, go on...
Square made millions with the original release of FF7, now with the compilation and the movie and all, it's publicity would be much bigger and Square Enix would surely profit even more.
FF7 est LA REFERENCE des final fantasy, son seul defaut etait les graphismes des personnages, il doit etre reediter pour le bonheur des fans et de ceux qu'ils ne le connaissent pas encor
Je pense que FF7 est un jeu vraiment très très très bien, mais alors vraiment génial. Le seul défaut: les graphismes ont beaucoup évolué depuis et il a pris un sacré coup de vieux. Il faut ABSOLUMENT le refaire, c'est indispensable à la survie de l'sous-espèce humaine nommée "joueurs". La vidéo était convaincante, mais si tout le jeu était comme ca, ca serait un renouveau qui attirerait un maximum de gens vers la nouvelle console...FANTASTIQUE!!!!
PS (pour les producteurs, si ils lisent ce message): ca serait quand meme plus malin de sortir un jeu que tout le monde attend et qui a deja fait ses preuves, non? En plus, ca preparerait bien l'arrivée de FF7 advent children dans le cas ou il sortait avant, car ceux qui y ont joué il y a longtemps ne se souviennent pas forcément de la totalité de l'histoire. Ca leur permettrait de se la rememorer en prenant du plaisir, tandis que d'autres joueurs plus jeunes découvriront ce jeu.
Out of every RPG game I have every played Final Fantasy VII has the most memerable moments. Never have I gotten as emotionally attached to the characters, or had my heart broken as I have with VII. I would buy a re-make in a heart beat, without hesitation! Without a doubt, Final Fantasy VII is the best RPG evermade.
Square made The Spirits within. While I love that movie I don't know why they called it FF. Think the name FF would sell it. I don't understand why make a follow up movie of FF7 and not a remake of the game. Everyone who bought FF7 would buy the remake. Better Graphics, DVD format, More CG movies and voice overs. SQUARE - JUST DO IT!!
FF7 is still the best game in the world, and that will never change. If they remade FF7 I'de buy 5 copies right away just to say I have 5 copies nuff said.
I'm playing ff7 right now! It was one of the biggest sellers on the PS and WILL be on the PS3 if it were made. I can't believe SE and Sony are both too stupid to acknowledge how much profit they would make if they were to re-make this game! Not only would the game itself sell out almost instantaniously but the amount of people willing to buy a PS3 just to get it is insane!

Jeez, just do it already, you could make it for PS3 and sell it for $100 and everyone would still buy it! Hell, I know I would. I'd buy a PS3 just to get it.
A remake would be wonderful. I STILL replay FFVII, never mind I have other games to finish and that I've defeated FFVII many times. It's just flat out fun.
Any fan would love to see their favourite game remade into something as fabulous.
I've been a fan since FF7 came out in the US. It's be great to relive all the awesome memories I've had with this game. And, yeah, seeing Cloud in drag with the PS3 graphics is not at all part of the reason I'm signing this. :D...
FF7 Was by far the greatest of the fantasy games. I watch the demo for its remake and I can't believe they haven't made it already. Someone please stop being dumb and just do IT!!!!
