All of us really want to see a new Final Fantasy 7 (THE best RPG in the world).
We all want to defeat Sephiroth, the Emerald weapon, etc...

Final fantasy 7 is more than a game and a remake on a more powerful system would capture the player even more than the first. This is not only a great move financially, but it is definitely something that would hit home with tons of gamers. Please remake final fantasy 7.
PLEASE remake FF7! It would be a garunteed success, it would be much better than DoC or AC! Pleae, I would much rather have a remake than a seuqek, because the story is already as good as it can get! PLEASE remake it with more side quests, and voice acting, and totally make FF7 awesome, you did voices and stuff with FF10, so please do it! And yea, when Aeris dies, I wanna almost cry, not go, "she died...that quick?" And this was my, and a LOT of other peoples FIRST Final Fantasy, so it'd be important to a lot of people. Please Square...YOU HAVE TO REMAKE FINAL FANTASY 7!!!
FF7 is (and most likely will remain) the best Final Fantasy ever. The storyline was amazing, the characters ruled, and the game set up was the best, I think, out of all of them so far.
Plus, Cloud and Sephiroth rock my socks.
Why not remake the greatest game ever? Advent Children will be proof as to how popular FF7 is. Besides, the word PROFIT is hard to miss on such a hot item.

en voyant le demo technique d 1 minute 38 secondes, j'ai soudain ressenti une grande emotion que la plupart des jeux actuel ne me procure plus .
suivi d'une grande désillusion quand j'ai lu qu'il ne sera pas refait sur ps3 .
alors que plusieurs jeux é un film en synthese sur l'univers de ff7, sont en production ( compilation of ff7 & fina fantasy advent children), il paraitrai logique de finir la "compilation of ff7" par un remake de ff7 sur ps3 , qui , a lui seul vodrai le coup d'acheter un playstation 3 .
I loved Final Fantasy VII extremely much, it was the first Final Fantasy and the first RPG i ever played and I would love to see a remake. even though you said it wouldn't be so as long as the original can be played on currently existing consoles, though, you're now making the Compilation of Final Fantasy 7, you have already a lot of voice actors for the occasion, and a remake wouldn' be finished until at least 2007, the Tenth Year Anniversary for Final Fantasy 7, this is the golden opportunity, and you would most likely make a lot of money on it, because most of the original buyers of FF7 would most likely buy the remake, and the Compilation project and the knowledge of FF7's fame and the graphical prowess of the PS3 would most likely attract new buyers of the game, and the original is very hard to get today too for most, which makes it a good reason to do it.
I know the story behind what makes you not wanting to create a remake, but, this is just FF7, not the entire series we're talking about, so it's not the end of the world if it fails, though that's highly unlikely that it'll fail, so please, forget past happenings, and bring back the wondrous game that opened our eyes to gaming jewels, even if it's just improved graphics even, I know a lot of people who would most likely buy the game yet again, many of the who feel the same as I do, just to be back in that wondrous world we all loved, so please, at least reconsidering bringing back Cloud and Sephiroth and the rest.

Final Fantasy VII est tellement un bon jeu qu'il ferait honneur à la PS3 s'il sortait dessus, donc (en anglais pas très bon) : make a FF VII on PS3 pleaseeeeeee !!
Quand je vois la qualité graphique de la demo technique, lié au mythe du scenario et du playgame de FF7, je me dit que ce remake a lui tout seul me ferait acheter la PS3.

When I see the grafics of the technical demo of FF7 on PS3, and when I remember the senario and the Playgame of this game, I think that I could buy a PS3 just to buy the remake af Final Fantasy 7. Sorry for my bad English ...
Final Fantasy VII is, without any doubt, the greatest game ever made. The amazing story and wonderful characters make it more than a game. To see the true vision of the game realized with consistantly wonderful graphics would be awesome. Fans would leap at the chance to play the new version and those who missed out the first time would surely be interested.
By far the best Final Fantasy game created.There needs to be a remake. It will be a huge hit. Come on they re-release movies with better effects and graphics...why not a video game?

I too wept with joy at the 'Technical Demo'. I dream about the thing. I was going to hold off buying a PS3, but were FF7 to be rereleased, I would be willing to pay anything for it. It is worth it when we are talking about the best game to ever hit the shelves!
That redone opening of FF7 made me cry with joy..until I learned it wasn't a game. Very disappointed, it really needs to be redone, to show this new generation of gamers what the BEST stuff really is.
A remake would be amazing, FF7 was a classic game which is still being played to this day, a truly awesome game which deserves a remake with current technologies.

I know that it would take time to make the game, but so many people would buy it. I've been waiting since I beat the game the first time for a remake or sequal PLAYABLE Final Fantasy 7. Not just a movie. Your first game was near perfect. I think a second from the exp. gained from making the ones after and making FF7 would def. make this one perfect if created. I'm not a fanboy. I just loved the story and characters.Its so deep...I think this game if made would be a HALO 2/Half-Life 2 killer.
yea id like to see a remake, not nessiserily a game tho. the story was what grabbed me so id like to see a couple of moives or a tv show, it would make advent children alot more to people
heck yes! FF& was the greatest FF game ive played!!! i think it woul be sooooooo great to see it remade. im sure that they would make a huge profit. but yea..did i mention it was a great game? lol. it would be awesome to see it remade!!!!!!!!!!!
I would love them to remake this game. This is my favorite game and the one that made me KNOW I want to work in the videogame industry someday. Please remake this!! I want to see it in real graphics!
