Heres hoping for a remake because this game was very good when it was released on the PSX.Very popular even with those who've never even touched an RPG game before.
im heather and for me ff7 stood and and when i think about the game my heart races and i want to tell the world how life changing the game is. making a remake would give my younger siblings...my children a chance to experience to discover its wonders, however i think it would be wise to all you ff begginers to play the original ff7 b4 the new one (if its made) because you will never beat it with all the graphics in the world but to re-experience the game in a new light would be thrilling for everyone considering it was tastfully done. xx
FF7 is a great game, but for the deep story which required gamers to think. Though, most people who play it do not appreciate it for what it truly is. A piece of art. Most people believe it is "omg cloud is teh bishy" and "sephroth is mean but bishy" and random stupid stuff like that. The game is great because of its clever theme. "Nothing is as it seems"
Please make a FF7 remake. I know it would sell like crazy. I feel that it is the best game ever made and i also think that there will never be a game equal to it. And what is the point of making so many things based off FF7 with incredible graphics but leaving the original in the dark??? Please, ramake FF7.>.

FFVII was the best Square Creation I've ever seen, and i've played every Final Fantasy there was so far, along with other square games such as Xeno Gears,Chrono Cross, and they were also good but a Remake of Final Fantasy VII would be a very profitable plan and it would also make many of your Customers, old and new, very Happy and Satisfied, you should really think about this.
If you missed out on FF VII shame on you, unless you were too young to play rpgs. I know i was when the Chrono series was out, so i missed out and petition for a remake. Back to the topic, I am a proud owner of FF VII and love it, along with IX. But i can't help but feel that a remake would only make the game available to todays youth (Its hard as hell to find this game) and nothing else.

I support this petition. The game has a huge fanbase. This fanbase is larger and more loyal than that of any other Final Fantasy series. It would be a strategical mistake not to include FFVII in the PS3 games lineup. However, I am wary as to releasing this game in too many consoles, as this gives the impression that Square Enix is trying to squeeze as much profits out of consumers as possible. Conversly, if Enix reserves the release of the FF7 remake solely to advanced consoles (e.g. XBox 360, PS3) it will give the impression that developers are being loyal to the quality of the game. I am also certain that the release of this game in any console will play a significant role in that console's popularity.

Absolutnie się zgadzam choc nie grałem w ff7 ale wiedzac iz jest to przełomowa gra według opni wszystkich osób w niagrajacycj napaliłem sie na nia jak cholera,wiec TAK,dajce,zróbcie,stwór zcie re-make finala 7 w zajebistej oprawie mówionymi dialogami i w ogole "the legend will never die":)
FFVII, to me had all of the best game elements. Great storyline, gameplay, music, movies clips, characters and more. The whole had so much potentical, with was fully used. Such a good mixture of characters and not one dull moment to be seen. To everyone itwill for ever be the finest and best RPG out there.

Yeah, remake this game, and remake CHRONO TRIGGER. Or at least chrono trigger on DS. OR MAYBE A SEQUEL TO CHRONO TRIGGER THAT DOESNT SUCK HARD LIKE CHRONO CROSS>
