Simple, i dont like the PS3 i have an xbox 360, if this was released on the ps3 i would buy one on release day with FFVII as i would for crisis core on PSPFFVII is by far the best game and game series of all time. Period.
I beg you on my knees, may your god hands, with all your potential, and talent, touch at final fantasy seven, and make it more beautyfull to us than never, i really prey for this every day, i have so many friends just waiting for this to buy one or other platform... there are several good reasons to remake FFVII. for one, FFVII is ten years old. the platform it was originally made for is outdated, and the graphics are nowhere near as good as Crisis Cores or Dirge of Cerberus's. if they did a remake, the graphics would be beautiful, i imagine, if they are anything like the ones in Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus. and besides. its bluntly obvious that a ton of people are willing to go out and purchase the game if it was remade. so theres no downside for Square Enix on this at all, because they would be making money, and giving their customers what they want. looks like a win-win situation to me.

I don't own a PS3, and I probably won't buy one even for FFXIII. But if FFVII was remade I would get a PS3 just for that game!
Although I do believe that the original game will always forever be the best, I still think a remake would make the world a happier place. Then again... I don't want the original to get spoiled... Decisions decisions... Bah! Sign me up!
Final Fantasy VII is my favorite game and if they remade it I would sell my soul for a PS3. It would be nice for it to come out for the X360, though. Or maybe a remake for the PSP? Crisis Core looks so beautiful and think it would possible. Anyway, where ever it may go I will buy it. Even if it is a PS3 exclusive.

its been so long since ive played the game. think of the nostalgia it would create among gamers. i would LOVE to play it again with better graphics. and soooo many other ppl would too
OMG! Sony have to realise that people would not only buy the freeking game, but also partly almost Praise the c/o who did it! But now the are focusing on XIII and that ofcourse takes up alot of resorces at hand and then it probably be a XIV and so on... PLEASE as it will be millions of players in the world of games thats going to cry (in a fashionat way ofcourse) if not recreated, there Will again *maybe* lol be crying again if you do! PS: hm i wounder if the players would aprechiate Aris in the game as a function in battle when you know in beforehand that she is going to die? maybe you can get her experiens points this time instead then?!?! but that is just a thought nothing els...:/
I totally agree with what some have said, a remake will bring in a huge profit, i mean look at the amount of signatures so far and alot do not know about this site. ffvii was the first game i played in the ff saga and i loved it, i had it on ps1 and pc, a remake for both would be great, but mainly the ps3. i have seen updates for the old one on pc and they no where near compare to what it could be like on the playstation 3!!! ah, i still have memories of playing tht day in day out(expression i am not th sad). pleeeeeeeeeeeeease Square Enix pleeeease??? pretty please???
Please SquareENIX do yourselfs and millions of fans a favour and remake this game for the playstation 3. If not it may be your biggest mistake. I thought Final fantasy XII was not up to scrap and only a remake of this game would make up for it. Please pretty please
Although it is a timeless classic that brought about the Final Fantasy era in RPGs, the graphics in this game didn't age well seeing that it was one of the first few games for the first Playstation. A remake using the Playstation 3's incredible proccessing power is exactly what the genre needs.
i bought it on ebay and the second disc dont work and i cand find any more how do they expect us to use new systems to play if we cant find the game for sale.
Please make it, I havent played it but played all over FF games and I loved the FF7AC movie, and Dirge of Cerberus, PLEASE! I cant find good PS1 games anymore and I will not get a crappy old copy or online rom. REMAKE IT! FF7 is more than worth it!
This is the first vfainal fanatsy i played and i got to say its the only game i played 10 times over it was so awesoome the storyline and the gameplay the graphics were great it was just the most awesome final fantasy game to me even 12 didnt satisfy me like how final fanatsy 7 did if it came out i would definitley buy it so please squareenix bring this out im sure it would be a big hit on the ps3 all final fantasy lovers would agree that this game would be amazing id definitley without a doubt get it
i would love to play this game again, with upgraded graphics this game was and still is the best game ever. as long as just the graphics are change and nothing else. Square Enix needs to make this happen so the next generation can really enjoy this game at its full potential. I believe we deserve it as fans.
Whats wrong with you se don't you see that all your new ff's are crap, plz remake the best of the series. I'm sure you will profit more from that, then your crappy new ff's you throw together each year

FFVII really captured my imagination and was by far the best FF game ever. Square Enix would be foolish not to take this opportunity to dazzle us with their newest technology while pleasing die-hard fans of the FF series.
