This was one of the best games i have ever played. It was the very first RPG that I have ever played. It got me to go on a spree of RPG game playing. Now because of this Square/Squaresoft/Square- Enix is my favorite game company. I would buy a game from them over anyone else, but im getting off topic. I really think that you should remake this game because a remake of FFVII would get a lot of atention, plus, a whole new generation of RPGers to target.
A friend told me of this petition, and not only would I want to buy a remake, I know of at least 200 other people who would as well, numbers not exaggerating. FF7 is my favorite game ever.
This is one of the best games of all time. And i'm sure i'm one of almost a thousand here to say that, but it's true. A remake of FFVII would definately be a success. Surely far from anything considered being a failure. It was one of the best stories of the entire series. And that's out of true honesty as my top 3 favorites of the final fantasy series are VI-VIII. But remake or no remake, i'll still be content with what I have now. But if I had the chance of getting a completely redone version of VII. I'd be all for it without any doubt and buy it. The tech demo was absolutely amazing. But more than a demo. It was a tease. Great eye candy for what the PS3 is capable of. But still a very bad tease. It had to be VII? Or maybe some intended to cause a craze.
My favorite game on the psx, and possibly many others as well. This would be quite a good idea. It has absolutley the best storyline and an incredible cast. So please, do a remake!
Final Fantasy VII is one of the BEST Final Fantasy's that was ever made. One problem was, yes the game was awesome, but there is the drawback of the really bad graphics. I saw the Tech Demo to show off the new ps3's graphics, and it was incredible! Especially the cloud part. I showed my dad the Tech Demo then a pic of cloud from the original game and his mouth dropped and went "WOW!" He could not believe the change in graphics. My dad even thinks that Final Fantasy VII should be remade. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you PLEASE Re-make the game Final Fantasy VII, I and all my gamer friends would most DEFINATELY buy it!
I would love to see a re-make of this game. It is, by far, one of the best Fianl Fantany games ever created. I would highly enjoy playing Final Fantasy VII if it's re-made!
The FF7 story line was absolutely incredible. Think how much more that you guys can add to it by putting it on a more superiour system. It would be mind-boggling.

Well i think ff7 is the greatest rpg ive plaied... 1 thing that lets it down to newer gamers (since new gamers now r used to these new consoles with flashy flashy graphics) is that it had a bit out dated graphics.. but a remake of this game would bring inall the proffits of the old agers who loved the game and also the new gamers who look on good graphics (even tho alot of 2d rpg's r way way beter than 3d ones due to the stories not graphics) but im not putting down graphics as a bad thing... good graphics will boost the popularity of the game even more! (disney re-realise their movies to get more sales, and digitaly remaster them to get more kids twant them!)
This simply needs to be done... the game still blows me away every time i play... but up-to-date graphics would bring the game to millions of new fans... please!
Remaking FFVII will not take away the game's integrity--but it would open more doors for it. Many of my friends are uninterested in playing FFVII solely because they dislike the outdated graphics (I adore the game nonetheless). If it was redone then my friends, and many others, would be interested in playing the game for the first time (as well as gamers of the younger generation). Also bear in mind the millions of veteran fans like myself who would thoroughly enjoy replaying their favorite game with the new, beautiful graphics and cut scenes. I understand Square Enix has a lot going on at the momentbut keep an open mind about a future project for this. I assure you millions if not billions of fans will be pleased.
A remake would be awesome...Maybe then my friends would stop making fun of me for the characters looking like lego people...so yeah that would be completly awesome...

FF VII has got to be the greatest game of all time.The plot was incredibly interesting and unforgettable.It's the best plot in game history and one of the reason it holds a dear spot in my heart.I cried for 1 week when Aerith died.The characters were realistic and beatifull.All the twist and different plot...THe emotions...

man, imagine the all mighty FF7 re-make into CG like quality even during regular game play with the PS3 power. That will probably be 1 of the most amazing thing for PS3.

FF7 will be with me forever. It really has changed my life. Ill never forget my favorite characters. I mean your fans love it soo much. we just want to see all the real things that went on in the game, vincent's cold stare, yuffies peppy attitude, Clouds Brave Profile, Tifas Caring face, Aeris's smile, Red's Growling...lol, Barret screaming and cursing....

I believe that FFVII is the best computer game ever made. The problem is - new players won't look at it because it looks old, the graphic, music (which is great but could be better synthezized) - if you give ff7 new skin, you give it new life. This great epic story will shine again.
