I support this petition. Fox obviously does not grasp the impact this movie will have on its legion of dedicated fans. Legal battles are understandable before a film is green-lit, but to do so during post-production, after the fans have gleefully watched the trailer hundreds of times, is like pulling a soldier from the frontlines, flying him home, setting him on his doorstep, and then shipping him back to battle. It's a cruel and greedy move, Fox!
Fox,...U had the property since '91,..obviously with no intentions or plans to move forward with a risky unknown franchise. Let it go..or take a settlement. Dont impede the art.
I support this petition. Watchmen has a chance to be better than TDK and fox comes along and ruins in like it did with x-3 and like it could do with wolverine. All they want is cash and will destroy works of art even if, like to 2 examples i gave, its their own film. I have now lost all respect for fox and will do anything i legally can to hurt thier business if they dont stop being childish

I support this petition. and yes that is my email. fox and all the other exec's trying to make a buck off of possible of existing franchises dont see the bigger picture. you may make the money in the beginning but it will lose steam quickly out of dissappointment. refer to spiderman 3 ... had an amazing opening, but the story was incredibly lacking and the franchise lost alot of respect - too many hands in the pot. Let Zach do his thing the way he wants and stop interfering because of some loophole or circular logic of why you have any right. you havent done anything with the name, and now that someone is, you want in. f u fox (on this topic at least).
I support this petition. And furthermore if Watchmen's release is delayed EVEN ONE DAY as a result of Fox's strong arm tactics I will boycott fox for the rest of my life and will encourage everyone I know to do the same. I watch fox regularly... in fact I'm watching Fox news right now. I watch 20th Century Fox movies. I buy Simpsons, Family Guy, 70s show dvds, etc...
I will completely cut fox off, and so will anyone else waiting with anticipation for this movie. (And there are a lot of us. In fact every book store I've been to in the last couple weeks has sold out of the Watchmen novel because people are so excited about this movie.)

Doesn't WB own DC comics??? you buy the graphic novel it states DC.. maybe they should ask the writers. I support WB.. There are more Watchmen fans than wolverine
