This movie NEEDS to come out on March 6, 2009. Clock imagery is hugely important to the themes and having the 3-6-9 release date (as if counting down to twelve on a clock) is absolute genius. I understand if you have the movie rights, but please think more about the work itself than all the money you will make from it!

Hell yeah. 20th Century Fox's behavior regarding this is just obnoxious and unsporting. If they halt the March release of this movie I will definitely stop watching and/or buying movies/series/tv shows produced/distributed by fox.
I support this petition. Fox has already disappointed me enough with how they have ruined the Aliens, Predator, Die Hard, and Star Wars franchises. I will not allow them to lay a single dirty hand of theirs on Watchmen.
When i first read "Watchmen" i was amazed, that anything could be that good. I read alot of books and this was by far the best thing I've ever read. I want my 6th March release, and if I don't get it I will never pay for another Fox movie in my life.
