I remember reading somewhere (probably Wizard) that Watchmen has jumped from studio to studio,no one wanting to make the movie (Im sure Fox was one of those companies at some point in time that past up the opportunity) & for 15 years it's been put in the "too hard to make" basket.
Now that someone has finally made it,Fox is trying to stand in the way. What a joke. As has been mentioned in the article & by a few people,they've had a year to put a stop to this & do it only now that they can get the maximum amount of leverage for as much money as possible.
I think Im gonna boycot any Fox involved movies/tv shows from now on wether they back down or not.

Why is FOX making trouble now anyway? They've had a year to make their claims. Is it because the buzz on Watchmen is phenomenal and they want their share of the pie or are they just trying to kill off anyone else who makes better movies than they do (which by the way is probably everybody else out there), or is it they're just plain suicidal?
I support Fox's right to determining their ownership in the matter, but if they attempt to block watchmen's release, you better believe I'm boycotting their next 5 films.
I support this petition fully and I intend to only watch bootleg copies of any fox property from now on. In fact, I just put a parental block on the fox tv station at my house so noone can watch it.
I support this petition. Fox had their chance, and they dropped it. Now that Warner has made a good movie and the buzz is good, Fox wants to jump on. Screw them, they should have said something much earlier.

The Watchmen has been in developmental hell for years. If Fox could have gotten it right, we would have see this film years ago. Don't be bitter that someone else is doing it better than you ever could, Fox. Watchmen is a DC property,DC is owned by Warner Brothers. Get over it and try to produce some worthwhile movies that will compete with the Watchmen instead of killing it because it could put what you have offered recently to shame.
I support this petition. How typical of some greed heads trying to squeeze a little more money into their overstuffed wallets. I never liked fox's tv shows in the first place.
I support this petition. Fox has had over 14 years to make this movie and they suddenly bringe suit after the film is in the can. They could have gotten the injunction to keep it from being filmed in the first place.
I support this petition, cause when i first saw the trialer for watchmen, it looked amazing, but when i found out about the lawsuit i was so pissed off!!!
Fox also murdered my favorite shows: "Space, Above & Beyond", "Wonderfalls" and "Firefly." I VOTE WITH MY DOLLARS and will not EVER purchase or support their films or products in anyway.
