'Family Affairs' was axed in August 2005. The death of the soap which won two well deserved awards in 2005 at the British Soap Awards finished on Dec 30th last year. It was replaced by old episode's of 'Friends' spin-off 'Joey'which only recives, 0.6 million viwers compared to 1.2million in which 'Family Affairs' recived.

Five have made a massive mistake by not only axeing the UK's best soap opera, but the worlds best soap opera - the show is currently being shown in Australia (repeats of old episodes) pulling in hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of viewers on the UKTV Australia network.
