Bettman is not a hockey guy. He knows nothing about the game. He only worries about attracting the occasional or fringe fan, while alienating the nhl's longtime fans. He does not believe in the game, so he feels he needs to change all the rules to make it better. I have news for you Gary: Hockey is a great sport which was fine before you took it over. Gary the count must go. He has ruined the game of hockey. If he can't convince the owners in the east how bad this new schedule is he must go. You can not have a league where you only see some of the stars every three years. How can you justify playing a team in your division five times in one month. If you have a few injuries during that period your season is over. Oh ya you don't get injuries now in the NEW NO TOUCHING ALLOWED NHL. Gary bettman all for the fans thats why he changed the game made it so called faster well i love watching a stopage in play every 10 seconds and or a penalty called every 30 how many minutes a game say average 20/40 penalty minutes per game now thats exiting and also i get to see minisotta play here in van couver 8 times that s even better give me a break bettman

because I think Gary Bettman sucks because he 1) started a lock-out and did NOTHING but screw the game up. 2) the teams should see everyone else but he doesnt think so. 3)It's no longer old time hockey. Gary Bettman has no idea what is good for the sport of hockey! To lose the NHL season was bad enough, but to have the NHL games broadcast on OLN which is not avaible on normal cable, is even worse! You need to try and get the fans back, not lose more of them.
We should fire Bettman as why give a losing team a point? We lost a season, I figured they would fix this! Does it take a strike by fans to fix this or do we wait another hunder years for someone with hockey sense! You can see the teams playing for the tie and that sucks! Like who cares anymore about losing the fans or losing the NHL.What we lost in the last few months was nothing less than the small people at the end of the line. The people that make a great part of their living taking care of the fans that support the incredibly high salaries that these kids ONLY play for! The ones that sell food and drink and show you your seat and all the other underpaid ones. The restaurants in and around the arenas and the parking places in and around. The economy of many cities were hurt. I can go on and on but I think someone may understand what I am trying to say. Thanks a lot to all the RICH well to do Players, owners and the leader of this gruesome group, the commisioner.....

Bettman is making a huge mistake by cancelling the season. Losing the entire season will lose not only a huge fan base but also a lot of revenue for the league. I am almost 100% positive that if the season does not come back that there will be no more NHL - they will never be able to recover the losses.
