How many other Viking supporters were rooting for a L yesterday in the hoops that it would hasten the end of this ridiculous regime? Zygi, if your true goal is a new stadium in Minnesota, you must realize by now that it will not happen with Childress running the show. If your goal is to alienate the fans to make a franchise move easier, Chilly is the man for that job.
Being down 10-2 on Sunday...and then scoring a touchdown, and NOT going for 2 pt. conversion..shows me, he has very little, if any sense of how to win a FB game. Tie score (10-10) would have sent to OT...10-8(if not successful)..so what..you win 11-10 on the same field goal...**just a bone head decision on the PAT. He panics in tough times during the game...his eyes get huge!!
I support this petition. I have followed the Vikings since the Joe Kapp days and this year's offensive/defensive/speci al teams play calling has been a nightmare. Given the talent they have on both sides of the ball they should be at minimum 5-1. I've had enough with this coach and his entire staff. The only thing that keeps us in the games is the defense for the most part. Can we not get a real coach in here to help this team out? Let's call Bud Grant out of retirement to give the team and city a coach that knows how the game should be played.
I've lived through 29 years of Vikings football. I hate Brad Childress. I'm glad the players are supporting him, that's what they need to say to the media, but I don't think it is heartfelt appreciation. The problem is, who would want to come in and who will do better? Cowher doesn't wan to come here. The Vikings have always brought in coaches who have had NO NFL head coaching experience...I don't think I can go through that again.
