Every time i go into the live fish section at a walmart store, the conditions are HORRID! Dead fish floating in the tanks. Sick/Disfigured fish. Algae literally caked on the walls and floor of the tanks. Disgusting amounts of fish waste in the tanks. no gravel or plant live or anything whatsoever in the tanks. Dead fish, waste, and algae stuck in the filters. i have never once seen an employee cleaning a tank. nor have i ever seen food in the tanks. fish are small, but they are still animals. and deserve to be treated right. Now i thought that maybe it was just this one walmart. but I've seen it at several others. i have also researched this and found that this problem not only happens in my area, but other states as well. Walmart should NOT be allowed to sell live fish.

I support this petition. Every time I go to my hometown store there are dead/decaying fish and frogs. We got an algae eater last night and today it is dead!

I support this petition. All they have is fish. I walk in the store and I see is fish they need to sell cats, snakes, dogs, lizards, turtles, birds and spiders but that will be a diaster.

I support this petition. I know they are just fish but it is soooo simple just to take care of them. It doesn't make any sense for the fish to suffer. I bought 6 poor fish from there tonight. I will treat them and they will live. I have 3 that I bought 3 years ago and they are all very large and healthy no thanks to walmart. I continue to buy fish from there as more of a rescue than anything else.
