I have and will continue to purchase HD DVD movies, I will never purchase a BluRay disc. If HD DVD goes away, I will simple go back to regular DVDs and let my HD dvd player upscale them
HD DVD has a the most compatibility ratio for interactivy fonction example picture in picture, web acces, blu-ray player are not exept for ps3 and again 50% of buyers will use their consol a game center not for movie, left home player and only those of 3rd generation and up will be meaning only 25% of blu-ray user will be able to acces those, HD DVD player are the best option as the standard for everything was availaible from day one and that's the main reason that made Paramount to go HD DVD.
Fox why won't you support HD DVD? It's cheaper and it has delivered on its technology to the consumers. HD DVD was released to consumers first and should stay with consumers.
Its a disgrace that corruption is deciding this HD war and not the consumer.sony controlling all content is the same as having a fox in charge of the hen house!
Since HD is a finished format and BluRay is going to take another 10 months to get the the same point I think it would be logical to release at least your best sellers in HD Format.
Xbox 360 is outselling ps3 buy the truck full. Alot of those people are buying xbox hd-dvd player also, think about how much market share you are losing. Is Warner Brothers being neutral the only company that gets it?
There's several titles like the new simpsons movie that we want to get but the price for a new blu-ray player just cost too much, therefore we went with an hd dvd player.
If as a company you prefer one format over the other, Why not give exclusive content to one system, but still offer the movie in the other for all consumers to enjoy. HD movies are growing in popularity. 2 formats hurts everyone.
Please give us people that can't afford $500 bd units a chance. We will come in numbers to support your movies. Until then, I will not buy even regular dvd movies from fox or any other movie company that doesn't support hd dvd. thank you.
