Even though Blu-Ray won, they did so by buying out studios. HD DVD by far has delivered a better viewing experience. I will NEVER buy a Blu-Ray. I would sooner spork my eye out than subject myself to the grained and sub-par quality that they claim to be HD on their inferior format.
Keep them both alive. I own both and would like to see both blu-ray and HD stay alive. I admit that there are less issues with the HD DVD format, much less.
