When I first started using Game Maker, it was still in version 4. I absolutely fell in love with 6 and was devastated with version 7. I\'m used to it by version 8, but I still miss using 6 and I still do every now and then, but the compatibility kills me.

I support this petition. Yoyogames is taking GM in the wrong direction. This type of logo removes any possibility of a serious game designer even thinking twice about trying out GM. Are they trying to appeal to kids now?

I support this petition. If this logo is used it will be physically impossible to take GM seriously, which is a shame becuase it\'s an easy to use and surprisingly powerful tool. I have yet to register my copy and I refuse to unless the logo is changed. Yoyo can not underestimate their non-children demographic, as not only are there a lot of us, we have the choice to move to something bigger and better.

People are being kinda cruel about it but it IS true that the logo kinda sucks. At the same time though, it\'s awesome in an ironic way. But that\'s not what anyone\'s going to see.
