I personally avoid services who use retarded commercials. The gecko was pushing it but the money stack with eyes blacklisted geico in my choice for insurance.

I support this petition. I agree with Robert Dvorak and all the rest who find nothing redeeming about these ads. These idiotic, humorless incessant commercials are driving me crazy too. I wonder if the cable/tv stations who accept campaigns with nefarious, insufferable tv spots realize what they are losing in RATINGS and viewers by running those ads. Most commercials, I can stand, but when it comes to these, I change the channel and you should too.

I never used to watch that much TV to begin with, but I watch even less now just because I'm really sick of their crap. I feel as though my brain is being stabbed by a stupid stick when I happen to catch one of their commercials. I don't care if they offered me full coverage for a dollar a day. Those stupid commercials just aren't funny. The one where a celebrity interviews a regular person is just obnoxious. Same with the thing with the gecko. And I hated the "I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance" thing -- THESE AREN'T FUNNY. The caveman ones initially weren't bad, but the other ones are awful, the stupidest things on TV that make me want to buy from Allstate just so Geico would be put out of business and I won't have to see any more stupid commercials.
