Dear Barack Obama,

America needs bold energy leadership. Al Gore, the nobel peace prize winner who helped build a grassroots effort to promote alternative energy and stop global warming, can lead America out of its imminent energy crisis. Al Gore's realistic plan to phase our fossil fuels in 10 years would solve many of our nations most critical problems:
-high gas prices
-our dependence of foreign oil
-global warming
-the economic recession
Under Al Gore, we could bring real change to our energy policy with the use of alternative energy (solar, wind, geothermal), energy efficiency, and a twenty-first century energy grid. Al Gore can bring real change to this nation's energy policy. Therefore, we think he would be the best choice for the Head of the Dept. of Energy.

Dear President- elect Obama. You stated that you who support green technology and be a President that would represent all Americans. As a independent who voted for Ralph Nader due to your weak progressive stance and your corporate support for Washington, your nominates so far have not been "real change I can believe in". I support this petition in the name of the millions of Americans who identity themselves as neither a Democrat or a Republican. We (Independents, Green Party, Libraritians, and Constitition Party), President-elect Obama, are Americans. Americans who will bare the costs of the federal ballots but are not representated. Your candidates for Presidential candidates for office where ingored by the mass media. Your issues have been ingored. Now, you ingore your supported representatives in your candidate selection. I ask you one question. How did America get into its current condition? President-elect Obama, it is because the third party fractions of our population issues such as single payer health care, jailtime not bail time, green technology, and ending our dependence on oil where ingored by a two party system that respects the sacrifics of our armed forces.
