Make Al Gore the Head of the Dept. of Energy

Dear Barack Obama,
America needs bold energy leadership. Al Gore, the nobel peace prize winner who helped build a grassroots effort to promote alternative energy and stop global warming, can lead America out of its imminent energy crisis. Al Gore's realistic plan to phase our fossil fuels in 10 years would solve many of our nations most critical problems:
-high gas prices
-our dependence of foreign oil
-global warming
-the economic recession
Under Al Gore, we could bring real change to our energy policy with the use of alternative energy (solar, wind, geothermal), energy efficiency, and a twenty-first century energy grid. Al Gore can bring real change to this nation's energy policy. Therefore, we think he would be the best choice for the Head of the Dept. of Energy.
