• This would institute a mandatory 10-point grading scale to ensure consistency and uniformity across Elon University academia

• This would ensure consistency in grading across all of the majors., providing uniformity

• The purpose of grading is measure and communicate student progress, consistency in this will make this clearer for students, faculty, and graduate programs

• Grades influence merit based scholarships, athletic eligibility, and graduate acceptance

• Levels the playing field in our college and other colleges in the job search world

• May increase student motivation to reach higher levels of academic achievement
