We believe that the City Council made a mistake on the November 6th vote and should reconsider. We believe that Port Terminal Commons would be good for Greenville and that the Council voted for the best interest of the residents of River Hills rather than considering the needs of the community as a whole.

Port Terminal Commons would be a pedestrian friendly center that will have an upscale gated apartment community, a Wal-Mart, clothing stores, salons and other specialty shops and restaurants. The project also includes extensive landscaping and a conservation zone with over 20 acres of greenspace.

Also, the $60 million that the development will inject into our local community, plus the 700+ jobs this it will add, could not have come at a more opportune time.

Please sign this petition to tell the City Council that they should reconsider and say "yes" to this opportunity.
