I support this petition cos it's about time we heard the truth about this game instead of halo propaganda!! What exactly did halo do new for the fps genre? It wasn't the story because the story is the same cookie cutter story from game released before Commander Keen (which is a better game than Halo by the way). It wasn't vehicles, we've seen them in older games like Shadow Warrior and Terminator:FS and SkyNET games. It wasn't carrying limited weaponry or the weapons themselves, I think System Shock was the first fps to do that, the same with needing to reload too. 1. Unless your one of those fucking modders, then there is no way to locate someones spawn position, thus giving you a chance to get to a safe area.
2. Halo 2 was built to be a slower version of PC games. The weapons, vehicles, everything was built for the game to be slower.
3. Ok, this argument is really stupid. Even though an xbox is a computer basically, it doesnt have the latest graphics chip. Last time I checked, it had $500 worth of graphics under the hood, while a PC has about 4 or 5 grand.
4. I dont have much of an argument here. Most weapons are unbalanced, but if bungie fixed the respawn of the weapons to timed (Halo 1), that wouldn't matter.

Bungie Studios might have been an alright house back when they were making games for the Mac, but now that Microsoft and Halo mania has swallowed them up, it's all about money. After about the 12th call to M$ to ask them to fix player exploits on their official servers, I gave up. Halo is less a game than it is a steamrolling money-grab that all the fans will buy into no matter how badly the authors treat them. And believe me, Halo fans get the sh*t end of the stick from their beloved Bungie. Halo has become an mechanism of evil and abuse and should die.

It has some of the most tedious gameplay ever conceived and can barely hold a candle to its predecessors on the console, and by no means can even touch a FPS on the PC. Halo came out and every PC-gaming console player was like, "Wow!" A 5+ FPS for a console. I remember being in a local gamestop and overhearing them. Me being the asshole PC gamer told them that I have been able to do that for years on the PC. They laughed at me and told me, "It has voice too, you idiot." I told them that VOIP was around for quite some time. I remember using mplayer in 1997 and using my mic to talk to my friends. Well, those consolers didn't believe me. Funny how dumb they were. Anyway...
I used to work for best buy. We had a 42inch HDTV with an xbox connected. The guys would play halo 2 on it during breaks, and I joined in a few times. The controller sucks. No quick aiming capability whatsoever, it was all who could strafe more. That's bullshit. Anyway, me and 3 other PC gamers figured out how to splice xbox controllers into USB and connect it to a PC and configure it to play halo on the PC. We then invited 4 of the best halo players in the store to a 4 on 4 match of halo TDM, PC gamers vs console gamers. We gave the console gamers time to play and make sure their controllers were set up to be fair, then we started the match. After 6 hours of gaming, the consolers had lost every match that we played. Why? The PC gamers have a much much more efficient controller, they can use all 10 fingers, whereas the consolers can only really use 4 of their fingers and they have to deal with the scroll look style of the looksticks which is extremely slow. Did I mention that I was the only PC gamer that had ever played halo?
