hd-dvd is the only way to go. just think ,it will take the blu-ray camp, twice as long to produce a affordable player, plus thehd-dvd movies are better looking than the blue-ray stuff, i want my xmen 3 movie on hd-dvd.
HD-DVD is clearly the choice for the average family who owns DVD and HD DVD. I don't understand why big comapanies like Disney and Dell would let themselves get duped by Sony's Trojan Horse the PS3. Really bad move Disney you've lost a long time fan.
Disney I have been a huge fan and customer. I own every Disney DVD and would buy Every HD-DVD Disney film distributed. But I will not and never will buy an inferior product like Blu-Ray :(
Please support HD-DVD as we all know Sony apparently does not know how to make a media format work. HD-DVD is affordable and offers superiority over Blu Ray.
I have been behind HD-DVD since it was introduced. It is nice to see the underdog pulling ahead. I think it was a poor choice in part of Sony to put (force IMO) Blu-ray on gamers. My reason for not owning my first new Playstation at its launch. With that in mind, just bought a HD-DVD add-on for my 360. AWESOME!
Sony and their expensive media! Great game system, but totally stupid format, not accessible to everyday consumers. I support everything else Sony, but not this.
The most important factor is that typical consumers understand what an HD DVD is. Learning about technology is not the hobby of most - and blueray sounds like a bad 80s cover band.
Regardless of Sony's past failures in format wars the HD-DVD is still a better solution than Sony's Blue Ray technology. The tatcis they are using (PS3) are not appriciated either.
Unless Blu-ray gets about 600$ cheaper HD is the way to go please allow all movies and studios to go to HD and Blu-ray let the public decide what it wants. not the corperations!!!

Sony has lost their mind and is once again trying to force a format on the market to muscle out the competition. Look at what happened with UMDs for the PSP. I support HD DVD, Microsoft, and the Xbox 360. Who's with me?!
I have no intent on buying another DVD. I now have an HD-DVD player and my collection will grow with the HD expansion. If a studio fails to support HD-DVD then they are no longer going to receive my $$$. It's as simple as that.
