I have already purchased 10 HD DVD's in two weeks. A lot of my friends have been doing the same. I think it is poor business practice to attempt to force consumers to purchase certain technology when in fact you are losing business due to a commitment to that technology. Your true commitment should be to the consumer and not formats.

Having 2 formats is divisive & will only hurt the industry. I've stopped buying Disney DVDs until they start offering HD-DVD releases, even though it meant passing up the recent Pirates 2 DVD :(
