Clearly HD has an edge. Supporting Bluray now would only hamper your movie sales, as nobody with HD DVD players are going to go buy a Bluray player. Go HD-DVD!

First we have DVD, then we have HD DVD. Blue ray sounds like fish. My Toshiba XA1 makes regular DVD's look great, HD DVD's are amazing!! I'm building my collection now. Can't wait till all TV is HD. Regular TV is like a transistor radio compared to HDTV in 1080i Don't delay, we know what we want, and that's every title in HDDVD. Got it?

It is unfortunate that due to Sony's stubbornness they have forced yet another standard on consumers. J6P will be even more confused than before with HD, HDDVD, BluRay, 1080i, 1080p, etc. Apparently Sony does not remember their own Betamax, or the SACD/DVD-Audio fiasco. DVD did so well because it was a unified standard. In the HDDVD/BluRay battle there will be two losers. One of the standards and every consumer. :(

I bought a Beta and obviously had to buy a VHS and scrap a movie collection. not this time Sony...! I have been a Playstation 1 and 2 owner, because of this move I will not get a PS3 and get an Xbox 360. Wake up Disney, we love your movies and now we will not buy the HD version unless you go HD-DVD

HD-DVD is the clear choice. What's the popint of paying extra money now for a Blu-Ray disck just because it has a massive amount of empty space on it?What a bargain. It's like buying empty space.Blu-Ray, come back in a few years when there's actually a plan to fill up all of this space that your charging us for.Plus most of us are more interested in the movie, not the bonuses. As a computer geek I think that Blu-Ray should live for computing purposes, not for movies.

End this format war in any way possible. Do not trust the future to a single licensee. DVD broke all acceptance records because all vendors were united under the DVD Forum. HD DVD is the only alternative that closely resembles this. Please support it!
