To all studios please re-think your position on this matter and start releasing you film catalog ontoHD DVD.
Cheaper hardware is coming outmeaning even more costumers will be out therebuying software.
Blu-Ray is too expensiveand not In anyway better. Blu-Ray's 50gb disc is meaningless since you use mpge2 and pcm which isthe reason you have to have more space on the disc.
HD DVD uses VC1 and TrueHD audio and hads been proven to be better!
If you do not support the format of mine and a lot of others choice then for me I will never buy into Blu-Rayand will wait..
I will not shell outanymore money especially for another format.
This IS just a horrible way to treat customers so please reconsider.

DVDs would have made a lot of money for the studios so support the people that gave us DVD by supporting their new format HD-DVD. The only reason Blu Ray stands a chance is because of the inclusion of it in the PS3. Blu Ray discs may have more storage space but because of HD-DVDs superior compression technology it is irrelevant. HD-DVD IS superior so please support HD-DVD. Listen to us, we want HD-DVD.
Please stop with this madness. Blu-Ray will just be another Sony proprietary failure like BetaMax and UMD. HD-DVD is the future. If Blu-Ray is touted for its capacity, let it be a storage format. HD-DVD is better for video playback. I am waiting with money in hand to buy your films! Start productincg HD-DVD content!
I don't have anything against the 'other' HD format, but HD-DVD is the obvious choice for me - more affordable, better interactivity and a vastly superior choice of movies to watch.
The region-free nature of the format - at present - seems like the way forward.
Not everyone out there owns a PS3 or wants too. I have an HD DVD player and i love it. If DVD can be played on an HD DVD player and they come from all the companies why cant that same support be moved over to HD DVD. Please support both sides we want the same movies as Blu Ray.
the customer is alway's right,think about it they alway's want thing's that are cheaper and hd is for player's and disc's. so come on give us the customer what they want.
Who cares about interactive crap on DVDs. I buy DVDs for the movies they contain... HD-DVD has enough space for a great looking HD picture and the price is right for my budget. One HD format please (HD-DVD)!
HD DVD is the following of DVD, with sony has to come with BD according to some site HD DVD can rich 51 Giga maybe more what more do we need. HD DVD all the way, and it's cheaper to make.
