I own both but would like all studio's to be neutral and give me the choice of which format to purchase. For this reason I also add my request that you also publish in HD DVD
I will absolutely increase my buying habits for any company willing to add their support to HD-DVD. Even though I am a neutral supporter, I prefer HD-DVD to blu-ray, and have actively not purchased certain films on blu-ray for that very reason.
I went with Sony the last time and had to through away the $700 player. The last full featured VHS recorder/player I bought cost $50. Think I will go with Sony again? Nata
Come on, Please all the studio support HD DVD as more title movies on HD DVD. I want to see HD DVD winner format HD and I don't want Blu Ray won. HD DVD was better and best name. Also it was better superior and sound. Blu Ray suck and die.
I will never buy anything else from the foreign company Sony. I support HD-DVD all the way. Why doesnt Disney support the American company Microsoft. Let us consumers choose our format. HD-DVD all the way.
I am a die hard HD-DVD supporter and know a lot which are too. I will never buy a BD player if the HD-DVD format will fail.
Please start releasing movies on HD-DVD. Let the consumer decide!

C'mon - HD DVD has had lots of early success, and has continued doing well despite the "PS3 effect." HD DVD will not die anytime remotely soon, and you might as well support it sooner rather than later.
Bring on HD DVD. I am waiting it out for them. Blu Ray is just too expensive. I just want movies in HD, not the gimmicks. Studios should give both formats a shot and not show an obvious bais... thats just bad business, and will loose fans in the long run.
I believe that HD DVD is the leading format. All the major studios should support due to cost. People want the best but at a lower cost than 2x (Blu-ray).
I will never allow a lying, sly company to win, Sony has used their PS3 as a trojan horse. The Xbox 360 HD-DVD Player is proving to be very popular and it allows consumers a choice to have or not have. HD-DVD is far more superior in sound quality and visual, and overal disk layout

HD DVD is a solid format. My entire family and friends have a boycott of Sony products due to bad design and low quality. WE WILL NEVER BUY BLU-RAY DISCS: EVEN IF HD DVD DOES NOT WIN. Release movies on HD DVD!
It is asenine how it all becomes a competion, forcing the comnsumer to stay on the fence and wait until the war is over. All so one company can make more money than the other. Whats the harm in joining forces, sharing the wealth, and then people can just purchase the new technology and everyone is happy. Sony is behaving like an infant. Its pretty much extortion, Sony's movie studio makes the majority of the good movies out there and are basically saying "if you want to see these movies in High def you have to spend 1,000 bucks on our player." Its a small monopoly, and the fact that Sony makes movies and Toshiba does not is the only reason there is a war.
I hate to have to choose between 2 video-games consoles right now! To have to choose a format for HD Video is even worse! It is even worse when I start to think if my movies will be played in all the places I go and If I can continue to import original discs from USA! I hate region codes!
Corporate greed should not punish a consumer like me who naively bought my way into the middle of a format war. The studios are losing out if they exclude HD owners.
