HD-DVD is affordable. Sony is not. Kickbacks by Sony to keep studios with a sinkng ship is selfish and hard on the consumer that wants that new movie in HD. Don't sink with Sony. Make the right choice for the average consumer!
HD DVD is the best choice out there. Blu Ray doesnt even have has many features like HD DVD. Theres a clear reason why Warner Bros. chose to release The Matrix Trilogy on HD DVD first because HD DVD has the ability to do In-Movie-Experience. I love my HD DVD player..
I hope the studios will decide to support both formats and let the consumer decide which format is superior. I love my HD DVD player, and I have no intention of purchasing any standard DVDs again. I may be limited in my selection, but my money will be going to studios that support HD DVD.
HD DVD, is awesome i have over 10 movies now, at the moment im only buying what i already have on normal dvd, microsoft are very very smart to think about using HD DVD, specially backup with the awesome xbox360 machine which kills PS3 with graphics, just check out Fight Night 3, the crowd looks real in the xbox360 and looks blocky on the PS3, SONY never think about what they do they just do before thinking and it screws them every time, back to HD DVD, which has a better menu system and can watch other content without leaving the movie
I think blue ray is too expensive and i think hd dvd is best for us. i know blueray is great but hd dvd makes more sense. i suggest you release movies on hddvd as well. i will not buy blue ray that's for sure...
As an HD consumer not interested in multiple players, I would like you to know that you will only sell HD movies to me if they are offered in HD DVD. If you would like to make more money, Please support HD DVD.
HD DVD and Blu-Ray should have the same movies released and should let the consumer choose which one they favor. I want equal movie representation on HD DVD!
Blu ray is more expensive, scratches easier, and is not superior in picture quality. So what is the big debate about-Blu Ray LOSES. We use the X BOX 360 for our HD HVD player and it is awsome. The movie studios ought to at least offer both formats and let consumers decide. There are several movies I would buy if they were in HD DVD, I refuse to buy a blu ray player
I think HD-DVD is far superior to Blu Ray. Movie studios need to support HD-DVD and if they cannot support only one then support both and let the public decide!
Format wars are killing this industry. It's time to get more movies on hd-dvd as there is a risk of people ignoring the high defination all together. Also more box set like mission impossible would be good.
I will not be buying a Blu-Ray player until it is under $200. I will not be buying DVDs. Therefore, unless you make HD-DVD disks you will have lost a customer.
The film studios need to recognize that they, not hardware manufacturers, drive the market. That said, clearly the HD DVD format is more desirable in numerous ways, and has picked up substantial public purchising backing in recent months. It is quickly become
HD DVD has proven to be far more consumer friendly in terms of pricing and reliability of hardware. Are you selling your titles to Sony, or the consumers?
HD DVD is the better solution and people will figure out how to deal with the Blu-ray problem and by pass it in the future. Kepp blue ray as the format for ps3 games and for storage devices but stop bringing good movies to our dying format
I know HD DVD is better for both the consumer and manufacturer as far as cost and protection. Why the big fight for blueray as the consumer recorded hd standard when HD dvd is a better consumer video product.
