Studios must take their consumer audience more serious when it comes to money. The consumer will always purchase the better priced item first. So studios need to provide these films at better price if they expect the consumer to purchase their merchandise.
the only reason i havent started buying HD players and movies is this product war, I would like to support HD DVD over bluRay because I feel it is superior, however I dont want to risk spending money on the next sega dreamcast
It's silly to buy an HD-DVD player if you want to see Lord of the Rings or a Bluray if you want to watch Star Wars.It means you will have to own two expensice machines to be able to see all the movies you want. It's unaceptable. The same movies should be released on both formats, then It would not matter which type of player you have but the quality of the player Itself.
HD really is the way to go, I have faith and believe in this format and the studios should as well.
We don't need another format war on our hands, so at the least all you studios should be releasing on both formats and let the consumer decide where to put their money.
HD DVD is the format I've chosen to view HD movies on. I own an HD DVD player, the Xbox 360 add-on. I will not be buying the PlayStation 3, or any stand-alone Blu-Ray player, anytime in the future. I just want the studios who only release on Blu-Ray to understand all of this because they seem to be unaware of the fact that they could be making a lot more money for themselves and their shareholders by releasing their films on both HD disc formats. I'd be more than willing to give them my money by buying HD DVD versions of their movies. But, if the only format that certain studios are willing to support is Blu-Ray, then they're not going to be getting any of my money at all! Long story short, studios, if you want my money, then support HD DVD, too! -- Eric J. Convery Modesto, CA
HD DVD is the present and the future! Bluray has consistently failed to live up to the hype and the flexibility of HD DVD together with the vastly superior current and future catalogue make it the HD disc of choice!
HD-DVD has won me over in terms of Picture and Sound Quality. Better pricing, availability and overall concern for consumers who want HD-DVD to be the next 'step up' from DVD.
YES RELEASE THOSE TITLES NOW ON HD-DVD, JUST LIKE YOU HAVE ON DVD!!
I will be buying the A2 hd dvd player and I hope more movies will be released in the future. I do not support blu ray b/c of the cost/performance ratio
Blu-Ray has consistently over-promised and under-delivered. HD-DVD has done the opposite. Like many others I've made my choice. Do film companies want my money or not? More material on HD-DVD means more of my cash!
come hd-dvd is the only way to go-thousands of people
already own a hd-dvd player now we want more hd-dvd discs-from fox disney--come on you know it makes sense--pleaseeeeee
