I would be happy to purchase or even repurchase many of the Fox studio
titles. I won't even buy Star Wars on DVD until it is offered on
HD-DVD. Blu-Ray still uses the old MPEG 2 format that has been proven to be
lower quality than HD-DVDs VC-1 and MPEG 4 technology. |

Blue Ray is yet another line of revenge Sony is unleashing on consumers
after it lost the Beta/VHS war. How many failed memory formats does Sony
have to introduce before Joe Consumer revolts? MD, Memory Stick, Memory
Stick Pro, Memory Stick Pro Duo, UMD, Micro DV, ATRAC Audio format, etc.
Bah humbug $ony. |

I was able to get into HD-DVD at a very affordable price. I purchased the
HD-DVD add-on for my currently existing Xbox 360 for $200. And I now own 6
HD-DVD movies with several more on preorder.
I have no intentions of purchasing a Blu-Ray player, PS3 or otherwise.
However, if Fox and Disney will step up and move to HD-DVD, I will
absolutely support them by purchasing their titles; where I simply will not
via. Blu-Ray. |
