I support this petition. If sony doesn't fix this problem, i will never buy another Sony console again, and i've been a sony fan since the original playstation, and i have a playstation, ps2, psp, and a ps3.
now, i don't want to have to make such a claim, but to not even include explanations, and to permanently delete some of the best levels i've played... inexcusable. IN EX CUSE ABLE.
I support this petition. I have played the Azure palace and feel that it is one of the most original ideas ever made from an amateur game designer. This is what Little Big Planet was made for in the first place.
This game is what sold me a Playstation 3. I didn't even have to convince my friend to buy a PS3 after he played this game with me for only two hours. There's so much positive buzz about this game, but doing things like permanently deleting someone's hard work without giving them a proper chance to fix it is going to cloud up all that buzz. Please rethink your strategy! Draw a more positive line between fairness and avoiding cease and desists.
It is things like this that will kill user created content games. It is a really fine line in most cases as to what gets taken down and what doesn't, but to not give a reason or a way to counter a take down, it appalls me and most likely turns off anyone looking at these types of games as a purchase.
The moderation process is undoubtedly a ridiculous one. Sony really has no idea how to handle it (as they handle user developed content about as well as YouTube). Sony, get your act together and fix up the moderation system. A lot of great levels are being developed without much reason in the first place.
I support this petition. Is there really so much of a reason to pull off levels without warning? Sure, everyone may not know that their level is infringing on someone else, so tell them. Would it honestly take that much effort?
I support this petition. As a loyal PlayStation Fanboy, I find this to be at best a mistake but at worst an abuse of the power you have. You have created a fantastic game in LittleBigPlanet so please keep it that way.
I support this petition. I do not own Little Big Planet or even a PS3. But I must throw my support behind this. It is insane that any company would do something like this. Sony is crippling their flagship title for this year. I might not even buy a PS3 for this game anymore like I was planning on doing.
