I support this petition. Stop hindering the genius of your own game! You guys have been so extremely innovative up to this point. Don't lose your balls in the middle of the battle, mm, otherwise you're going to lose the very fanbase that's built you.
We need some answers for this, and a clear line drawn between what is allowed and what is not. Sony, this is one of your only games worth playing on the PS3. Don't ruin it for us.
I support this petition. and believe that one of the main focuses of this game is being lost with this paranoid moderatorship. If there is worries of violence introduce an age rating system via a patch and take more care when weilding the ban hammer. I found world of colour to be one of the best LBP levels and cant fathom how it could warrant removal.
I support this petition. My friend has had his level taken down, he said he had no warning whatsoever and i have created a level that i have published, have spent 7+ hours on it and i check whether it is still up there.
What Sony is doing is against the spirit of LittleBigPlanet's original intention. What was supposed to be the quirkiest, most enjoyable game this year has turned into the center of controversy because it lacks proper moderation. Either hire a staff to moderate the game or quit the game. Seriously.
There needs to be a better system for moderation where users can know what offending objects need to be removed, so their hardwork and hours spent won't be wasted and destroyed.
I fully support this. I haven't even tried making a level because right now the moderation policy seems to dictate that good levels have no place in LBP.
I support this petition. I was aware of the absense of the Azure Palace (even going to far as to create moderation fairness voting level within LBP) but I had no idea World of Colour had also been removed. Completely without offence and wholly original, there is no good reason either should have been removed and none was ever given.
Remember the First Amendment and Fair Use? It's because of those that we can make fun of celebrities, political figures, and other subjects in various forms of media. I believe Fair Use can allow users of LBP to create levels inspired by other commercial works. The same idea behind fan-art and fan-fiction. Of course that doesn't stop litigious vultures from giving people a hard time.
I support this petition. I've played some of these levels and can not think of any reason why they should have been pulled. If Sony/MM keeps this up no one will want to create anything anymore for fear their hard work will randomly be deleted with no warning or reason.
I support this Petition. I understand the need to remove levels with blatent copyrighted material, but to remove completely original levels or levels using sticker packs given when pre-ordering is foolish.
I support this petition. Modding games with liscensed content or that violate the ToS is perfectly acceptable, however there needs to be a process where 1) The creator is told exactly what content in the level violates the ToS, 2) The creator is warned and given a reaonable amount of time to modify or remove the content from the level, and 3) the level is not permanently deleted, but sent back to the player so that they can edit and resubmit the level.
