If a level is to be removed, the creator should first be notified of their infraction and given the opportunity to correct. People spend many hours creating their levels, and their efforts should not be wasted by an unannounced removal.
This "moderation" is getting out of hand.
If you're going to keep doing this, at least give a reason WHY you deleted, er, "moderated" our levels.
Fuck you, Sony.
I support this petition. I am currently making a level based off of an old movie. There is no use of copyright name, although it sounds similar with "sack" taking a place in the title. There should be no copyright violations that I know of, so the only thing I fear is that I'll get moderated by tippytoed moderators. This basically means that my hard work will never get published, because I'd rather play it with my friends locally than having it deleted by you guys. I would never have imagined Sony killing off their fanbase so blatently. What an extremely dumb thing to be doing.
Stop using the ban hammer so recklessly, Sony! Also, stop deleting stuff just because it was inspired by movies, TV shows, other games, ETC. That's just BS and people are going to stop making cool stuff if you keep telling them not to.
I support this petition. Because i hate it that mm is sony and whenever yes because ever! it makes me so upset, i today and then also when it deleted my stuff. i hate it that.
I support this Petition. This has become a big problem can't wait to see them do something to fix it. This game will hopefully have many important updates to it.
sony u need to fix this because many of my friends have made some amazing levels and most have disappeared so please sony fix this as soon as possible.
I support this Petition. because i'm tired of making so good level and take me more than 20 hours, then mod removed it, all my work for heart to get trophies is gone......
I support this petition. In fact i support it whole heartedly people spent alot of time on big planets MAIN feature only to have it erased without any warning
If LBP is going to succeed, Sony needs to put more people on the task of being extremely careful what becomes moderated. LBP will sink or swim based on user-generated content, and to remove levels blindly will severely hamper its chances.
Also, how about some staff making lists and highlighting the best levels?
