I support this Petition. My friend bought this game and we've been trying it out on his PS3. I was getting all hopped up to buy my own and make my own levels because it is the most fun, but now...and I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't want to plunk down the money and time to get this game if Sony can't get it right.
I support this Petition. I can only assume that the user base for this game is composed largely of people that pay attention to this kind of stuff. It would stand to reason that they, like me, will be less inclined to invest effort in creating truely unique and elaborate levels if they are subject to deletion with no warning and time to remove offending content. Those that have not yet purchased the game will be less likely to do so as a result. This just seems like bad business. Please reconsider your content moderation policy.
I support this petition wholeheartedly. I also agree that your moderation system is in need of a complete overhaul. How can levels like this be moderated out on what was probably sheer volume of griefing, while other levels referencing drug use and depicting sex acts remain on the servers for several days?
I support this petition. I cannot believe I wasted money on a game believing that I would actually be able to use the features Media Molecule gave me. They were the whole reason I bought the game, looked forward to it for so freaking long, and have given up on the whole idea of user generated content on a console. I hope someone at Sony reads this because I have returned the game since my levels are no more. I cannot believe Media Molecule has let this happen, Sony should not get away with this because quite frankly i am getting sick of my shoddy, delayed, and underwhelming PS3 exclusives and features...
These groundless moderations need to stop. People put a lot of work into these levels, and for them to be just washed away without so much as a warning is tyranical at best. What incentive is there to create anything if you know it can be deleted at any moment for no good reason?
I support this petition and have also been affected by the level moderation. This game will be going back to the store if this issue is not resolved. This is heart breaking for Media Molecule and fans of this game.
Please stop destroying peoples hard work!!!!,.. this game had soo much potential and your completely screwing it up!!!!! no creative person is going to put up with having their work deleted,... I can understand with obvious rip offs but with parodies and original levels it has got to STOP!!!
I support this petition. Please do not blindly remove user content made by people who make the difference between LBP being a 20-30 hour game and something that will keep people playing for months if not years.
I support this petition. The entire point of this game is community involvement. Without it, you've got nothing. Add one to the "holding off on purchase" crowd.
While I understand that moderation of contents is needed, I also think that this should be a place where people can post their genuine hard work without worries.
