I support this petition – and will not go to or allow my husband to go to any WB movies until HP is released, and will ask friends and family to do the same.
I woudn't like it, but I could take it if they decided to move the movie to January just to get the movie into the 2009 year, but pushing it back to July is completely unacceptable! Especially since the teaser trailer and international release dates were all just recently released. This has to change.
how can warner bros freakin do this, ive been anticipating this film since last summer, and get to 3 months before it opens and push it back almost a whole year, ARE THEY REALLY SERIOUS?!?!?!?
I support this petition. Now the WB just looks all greedy and gluttonous. I absolutely love Harry Potter but I hope that everyone boycotts this movie at the theaters and just gets the bootleg copy off the internet that will show up a couple of days later. I hope the WB execs choke on their losses that weekend!
I support this petition. Release Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in November! If you actual had a good reason for holding it back, then I'd understand, but this is clearly just because you want more money. Doesn't Harry Potter make enough money already, or are you seriously that greedy?

Either they fugged up on something and need to go back and fix it, an actor died and they have to replace him/her, or they're (WB) being plain greedy. Change back the effing date pretty please with sugar on top.
Just change the release date back! WB must be completely consumed by their own greed or just plain stupidity to have even considered this decision of pushing back the release of Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince. I am absolutely disgusted by this decision! Throwing in the lame excuse of some after effects, or 'repercussions', of the writer's strike has not made this any more acceptable and has actually made it even more disgusting; had to come up with some other excuse besides the immense greed of WB, right. It is total BS. I will not accept this decision WB has made. They know how long fans have been waiting for this next installment in the series and they got the fans hopes up with setting it for this year and to now change it to NEXT YEAR?! You are completely alienating loyal fans by this act of greediness and selfishness. See if this fan helps your profits of this new summer release date. This is disappointing, which is a complete understatement.
Well, of course it's about greed. I mean, Harry Potter is the most profitable thing they own. Apparently they don't realize that people would go see this movie if it was located on Mars - who cares if it's released in Nov versus summer? Anyway, boycotting the rest of the WB works won't be a problem. When was the last time anyone actually watched that channel?

This is so wrong, the teaser trailor is already out and we've been counting down the days. I know it doesn't matter to you - your priority is making money but we show up in Nov. too. In fact I go to more movies in Nov and Dec than any other time of the year. Oh well, you do hold all the cards but since I have to wait so long anyway I guess I don't have to show up on opening weekend do I (along with my grown children and their children) A Harry Potter movie is a big family thing with us. I am going to blog as much as I can and try any get people to boycott the opening.
They can't make all the fans wait another EIGHT months after they've already released the trailer and gotten everyone's hopes up for a November release. That's such bull, everyone is DYING to see this regardless of when it comes out.

I support this petition. Before I call you out like others have, I am trying to see your point of view on the issue, but I still struggle. Within three months of the release date you finally decide to push it another 11 months? Priorities need to be sorted out at Warner Bros. I am not as disappointed at the late release date as I am with the probable loss of fans and interest within the next year. Millions of people have just finished the last Harry Potter novel, in hope of the 6th movie this fall season. Now they have no more Harry Potter to read to stay interested in the series, and many will surely lose interest. I am sorry things have come down to money.
