As inferior as the movies are in comparison to the books, I still think this is unfair to the fans - the same thing happened to Star Trek XI. I wish movie companies would remember that their mission is to MAKE MOVIES, not please tha shareholders!

As you know, HP movies are blockbusters no matter when they are shown & to delay the release of the movie just so you can make more money in July is nothing but pure greed. I along with others have already been waiting for a year to see the Half Blood Prince. Of all the supid reasons to set back the release date! As If they don't have enough money to pad their fat tooshes! What about the common man, woman and child! Do we not count when it comes to anything in this world! Have we not paid our debts and more for our own poverty that has been pushed upon us by the money man! We don't have a whole lot to look forward to and when we do find something You all find a way to take it away from us and tell us sorry but we just thought it would be better elsewhere. GET REAL!!!! This isn't the first petition I've signed and I have no intention of stopping. I am a die-hard Potterhead, and just as we reached 99 days WB decide to make it next year! They've already released the teaser trailer, this is ridiculous. A whole year, waiting in suspense. How dare they let us down? I am in full support of boycotting WB movies, bring it on! This is ridiculous. Pushing date for a YEAR just because of some commercial reasons... For me it is nothing more but a obvious demonstration of unrespect for all the fans of the book. In other words, this is real bullshit. I really hope it's another promotional trick, just to get more attention to the movie.

I support this petition. They should move the date back to the November release, or we should boycott it in July. We were fans before they knew about Harry Potter, and we've stuck by the books this long, waiting years for books. We can show them how stubborn and determined we can really be.
