I support this petition. Not only is this blatant disregard for the fans, who have made Warner Bros. and Alan Horn the hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars they can now bathe in, but it's incredibly arrogant to assume that in pushing out the release dates on the last 3 films people won't just lose interest. That's already a risk now, with the final book being released in 2007. The longer the releases are delayed, the more likely people will have stopped caring. So in the interest of honoring those who have lined your pockets AND continuing to pull in amazing figures, it seems a better idea to stick with the original release dates. Are you so certain we will all come to the theater in 2011 to see the second half of Deathly Hallows if you pull this crap? Don't be.
I support this petition. I have been going to the premiere weekend of the Harry Potter movies since the first one came out. The tickets are always sold out. I have to buy them in advance. So greed shouldn't be an issue with the movie coming out in November. Warner Bros. you will still get a lot of money.
I support this petition. I don't understand the thought process behind hurting one of the largest fan bases in the world. Greed?? Really? Are you that shallow? Gross.
This is ridiculous. There is no reason the movie should be released 8 months late becasue WB wants to get their hands on some more cash. It completely unfair to the loyal Harry Potter fans who have been waiting since the beginning to watch these final films play out. Shame on you WB.
This is to register my absolute disgust at the putting back by 8 months the release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince for commercial reasons and disappointing millions of fans including young children.
Rest assured I will go to see all the Harry Potter films as and when they are released. However I will never see another non-HP Warner Bros film in the cinema again.
This is the worst example of lack of care for one's customers I have ever heard of and shocking in terms of greed considering how many many millions the HP franchise has grossed for WB.
This will be a huge public relations disaster for WB, a crass decision made by accountants.
Yours with contempt,
Alan Cooper

Lame excuse. It's a Harry Potter movie! I doubt there is a date where fans wouldn't be lined up at the doors, be it November, summer or ON CHRISTMAS MORNING!
If you release it, they will come!
I believe WB made a mistake for several reasons. Sure, I understand them wanting to make the best profit possible but come on. The teaser was already released. So many promotions have already been released with the November date listed. Now they have to fill almost a whole year with promotions for Harry Potter. What's more, if they are smart, they are going to have to have promotions that do not repeat what their previous promotions show. If they repeat promotions, people who are not readers will have vague interest in the movie. If more trailers are released why even bother seeing the movie! Trailers already give too much away, namely the key parts to keep viewers interested. Now if we have a year of that crap just splice the trailers together and vuala Harry Potter and the HBP! BANK! Again I understand the WB is a business and business comes first but damn, almost a whole year, should have thought of that before releasing trailers, pics, posters, magazine articles and such! Good Luck WB, you are definitely gonna need it! BTW, I'll still be seeing the movie I'm just kinda pissed! The WB is a TEASE! One Love!
I support this petition. I want to watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince this november 2008. I have been waiting for this movie since the last one.
I support this petition.
We are now DUMBLEDORE'S ARMY and we have to make are Voices Heard please join the Howler Campaign and email WB do whatever u can!!
I support this petition. Warner Bros. doesn't understand that not every movie is a Dark Knight, this is being released on the same weekend as The Dark Knight this year. Not all films are The Dark Knight, and I don't think this one would match those numbers
I DEFENTLY BACK YOU UP! THIS IS ANOTHER PURE FACT THAT THE FILM BUSINESS ONLY SEE US AS WALKING WALLETS! I AM ABSOLOUTLY DISGUSTED IN THIS! AND WILL NOT BE WATCHING THIS FILM IN THE CINEMA OR BUY ANY OF THE PRODUCTS!
